Stayed in the hotel for 7 nights as part of A 12 man golf group. Hotel and facilities are average at best. The restaurant was fairly varied But difficult to get a seating if the weather was poor. We ordered takeaway out breakfast bags on our second day as the 07:30 opening was too late for our golf pick up... Terrible decision, the sandwich was pathetic with no butter or spread which made it almost indigestible. The staff were, on average, very rude, particularly in the main bar and restaurant.... It often felt as though the guests were an inconvenience. The main bar service was particularly bad where even though several staff on hand, only 1 serving. Also, staff making a noticeable difference between customers, ie some being served drinks in glass glasses whilst others would only recieve plastic, poolside type glasses. And also, being told the bar was closed and there after discovering that others were continuing to be served. I honestly think the hotel needs to have their staff engaged in a customer service programme as this is the worst, consistent, wide ranging poor service I've experienced for many a year and I certainly would not be recommending this establishment to anyone.
