Perla Real Inn

I wish I could upload all my photos because I have tons. To begin with this is not a hotel, not even qualifies as a motel, this is someone’s backyard with all their old junk laying around. First thing you will notice is a lack of front desk, you have to ask for your room to anyone you believe appears to work there and after making a few calls to confirm your reservation they will open the door for you. The strong musty smell will welcome you to the room hoping the A/C will remove some of it but ha!, the remote does not work. Then you begin inspecting and find so many things broken, dirty and in bad shape that I do not know where to begin. At this point I believed I could spend a night with broken artifacts but before going to bed I removed my daughters socks which were perfectly white when we arrived and they turn black from walking on the room. Then I realized there was dirt all over although it is hard to see as the floor is painted brown. The photos you see on the web must be real old. This place is completely destroyed. I see photos of great looking dishes but I would not dare to have a glass of water from that kitchen. The water! I brought my own soap, same brand I always use at home, and as I tried to shower the soap would not glide on my skin, It got stock as if I was using a solid bar deodorant leaving my skin with soap residue I could not remove with water. Some people tell me this happens when the water is not treated properly. We stayed up all night waiting for the sun to come out and leave. If it was not in an island I would have been gone long before. I felt so miserable taking my family there and felt afraid they would get sick from bacteria or virus. Enough ! Please look at my photos and get the picture, and do yourself a favor: do not stay here, and if you do, please post photos so you can warn others.
