Copenhagen Downtown Hostel Reviews

The location is good, about a 10-15 minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station. Check-in is convenient and easy to do by yourself using the kiosk. The room has a sliding door with a strong auto-lock. Even though it's a capsule type, it's as spacious as a semi-double bed. I was a bit worried about the sturdiness… What was bad was the Wi-Fi! It completely stopped working late at night.

Overall stay is nice...good location..low cost stay..and clean hostel...everything is walking distance train station, bus, restaurant and all...love it👍

Capsules are good value for money, but can get a bit hot. No standard powersocket available, only usb(-c).

nice clean place and well located. only issue I wasn't able to turn off the light during my sleep and the fan is a bit noisy.

The atmosphere was genuinely welcoming and relaxed and the location is great, but the hygiene is not really good for the bathroom, there is a weak water flow for the shower, and the hotel reception was in the bar, and the rooms were above the bar, making it a bit noisy at night. This hostel don't have any common areas; you either went out or stayed in the dorm. They didn't even provide shower gel or shampoo.

The room facilities were basic, and the cleanliness was just okay. However, the staff were quite helpful and able to assist with any issues. On the upside, the hotel's location is really convenient for getting around.

It was great! The location is excellent, close to the city center, and there are grocery stores nearby, which was very convenient.

The facilities are comprehensive. You can go down to the bar and meet new friends. For the room facilities, it would be okay and worth the price. It would be great if the privacy aspect is improved.

The hostel was right in the city center, which was a plus. However, this hostel is more geared towards young, budget-conscious backpackers who sleep in dorms. The attached cafe was very cozy but also quite noisy, so you need to be okay with that.

No kitchen, and nowhere to eat the food you buy. Probably because there's a bar attached. Luggage storage is 100 DKK for a large locker for 24 hours, which is expensive.

Great location! I stayed in a single room. The bed was good, and the views were nice, but the windows aren't completely soundproof, so you can hear what's happening outside. It didn't bother me, but I'm putting it out there for anyone who might need that info. The bathroom is an all-in-one unit, which I've seen before and don't mind. However, I did find that the shower was very close to the sink, getting everything completely wet. Also, there was a leak from the sink when showering, which caused low water pressure in the shower. I didn't report it because it looked like it had been repaired, and I only showered twice, but it would be good to get it checked out. If you want to leave your bags in the locker, you can't until someone from reception arrives, which is at 2 PM. It would be helpful if someone could assist with this, and be available at least from 10 AM, which is check-out time. Other than that, everything else was good!

The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly. The request to be allocated top floor room was met. However, the housekeeping is something the hotels should focus on. The bathroom in my room was not cleaned and there were stains of urine on the toilet as well as weird smell in the room.

We had a good stay at Downtown hostel, the location was perfect and close to everything, the breakfast was good for the price, but i wish the check-in process was easier, for us and also the receptionists who were very helpful still but we kept having issues with our cabine room door, the digital code worked once in a while :(. The rooms are poorly soundproofed which was quite disturbing…also we forgot a console in our cabin room the day of our check out and contacted the hostel by email but never got an answer back…
