The building, designed by renowned Danish architect Kay Fisker, has undergone a complete refurbishment and will reopen in June 2025 with a new concept, developed in partnership with &Tradition, to redefine the modern hotel experience. Situated in the heart of Copenhagen, next to King's Garden, a stay at the hotel celebrates &Tradition’s brand ethos and the eclectic character of its designs. This exciting new venture combines &Tradition’s commitment to crafting curated experiences and its creative network with the established expertise and loyal clientele of Copenhagen Design Hotels, offering visitors a fresh perspective. Petra, with 40 rooms, is an intimate boutique hotel—a thoughtfully designed sanctuary where every detail is carefully considered.
