Gables Inn

The hotel is a bit from the subway station. Cleanliness is ok but should upgrade its facilities and hardware. But the price is good.

Great experience! The room was spacious, daily housekeeping services, with friendly and helpful staff.

Nice, easy roadside inn for short overnight stay. Bed was comfy, room was clean with A/C. Right off Dixie Hwy. so easy in and out. Friend staff with easy check-in and check-out. Exacly what I was hoping for for a quick overnight stay!

The room was bare - no pictures, no towel bars, etc. There was no coffee in the room or lobby. On Saturday, there was no hot water. This hotel needs updating.

The room was disgusting. Windows were unlocked and I found 1 of them open. I was on the 1st floor and thought that was very unsafe. The room was very dated with furniture stained and just gross. I seen dirt and hair in the floor and in the sink/tub. Definitely would not recommend this place. I felt so unsafe I put a chair in front of the door.

AC was effective and parking was safe. Room had a freeze but not microwave nor coffee maker. Staying was fine.

Checkin was easy and fast! Room was clean. That is the extent of pluses. The room was within 20 feet of a 6 lane highway and the entry door ( the only thing between us and the outside) was not weather stripped on the bottom so there was a place for noise to enter the room unimpeded! The AC unit was like a jet plane and wouldn't change speed! Thank god we brought good ear plugs! The toilet seat had no lid and there was no kleenex supplied in the room and only one washcloth! The shower was scalding hot and difficult to use! There was no phone in the room and Wifi was not available since the service was under repair! No dining facility of any kind on the premises! No microwave! No coffee maker! Staff was not available between 11pm and 8am! We made the best of it but, I would not recommend this place! When the staff was there we found them to be nice and amenable.

Parking ******. Also, it was $10 a night. Bathtub was gross, room was dated. Beds ******. One too hard, the other had a sinkhole in it. Room smelled musty. The El train was directly across the street. Felt like I was in Frank Gallaghers house. Internet was horrible.

Very low end hotel. Old and dated. TV and internet did not work. Back alley parking for additional $10 was dark and crime scene tape still up by my room.
