I stayed at this hotel at the end of March for two nights with a group of 15, that a colleague of mine and I put together. Unfortunately we got off to a bad start. I had called the hotel twice before arrival (on the road with our private bus driver) and was checking as to the closest drop-off point to make it easy to transfer to taxis to access the hotel . The hotel is in the historic area and even small buses (20 passenger) are not allowed in the area. I pointed out that we were mostly senior citizens and needed something convenient. the receptionist gave us the location and it agreed with what the driver had surmised. We got in the taxis and they dropped us off at the main entrance to the hotel. Upon entering the large gate we were faced with a flight of about 15 cement steps to reach the hotel lobby. Of course, we had requested hotels that had elevators. It had them to the rooms but not to reach the lobby. When I climbed the stairs (without my bags!) and entered the lobby, I asked the receptionist if they had porterage to help with the bags. Her answer was simply ”No”, and didn't offer any suggestions or help. 2 of our travelers helped others get the bags up the stairs. Later, we found out that there was another entrance that was street level. The receptionist should have mentioned this during one of my phone calls so that we could tell the taxis where to drop us off. Then, upon check-in, we were told there were only 3 time slots for breakfast and they only had availability at 10AM (some at 9) the next day for our group. We had a tour leaving at 10 AM the next day and they would not accommodate us initially. We were told we could possibly take food to our room (if there was enough left at the 9 AM time slot. In conclusion, we started off with a very unaccommodating attitude from the desk staff. They ”softened” up the next day, and in the end the hotel was fine. The rooms were clean, and well appointed for a 3-star hotel. The location is terrific for seeing the historic part of town. Not too far from anything, sights, restaurants. etc.

The hotel is just opposite the Corfudo Grand Mosque, the town centre, and easy to eat and shop. Hotel breakfast 7 euros, the quality is not bad. The underground garage is 13 Euro/night. The Grand Mosque is free to visit between 08:30 and 09:30 every morning. After that, you must clear the field. Be sure to go early.

The location is invincible. One minute into the Grand Mosque. The front desk is warm and sincere. The room is small. The bed board is quite interesting. The breakfast is not bad. The hotel is actually built on the ruins. I was surprised. In short, Cordoba is my favorite hotel in Andalusia. This hotel also gave me a little surprise. Small and delicate, I like him more than three famous paradors who have lived along the way.

The NH Collection Hotel Collection is a group of hotels that have been remodeled in some of Europe's old houses and appear to be found in many European cities. The hotel is in a good location in the old town. Do not drive into the hotel entrance by car, stop at the underground parking garage at the entrance of the ancient city, and turn right and follow the wall to see the back door of the hotel's large sign. The decoration style is modern and simple, and it is very comfortable to go out in the morning when there is no tourists. Sitting in an Arabian-style courtyard for a drink is also a good choice.

Perfect location, right opposite the mosque-cathedral. Very friendly and helpful staff. However, the room was supposed to be sound-proofed and it most definitely wasn't. Luckily I had ear plugs, but despite using them I got woken up early on Sunday morning by some of the guests in the hall. Shower is a bit of a disaster as it's impossible to wash without soaking the mat and floor. Bed a bit small, we're both 1.80 m tall and our feet stuck out of the bottom. Shame really because it's a nice place, but if could do with some improvement. Breakfast OK. Good coffee
