Hotel Serrano Reviews

I could not believe how good this Hotel was for the price I paid. I was looking for a budget hotel chain like and came across this. It’s clean, spacious, safe, 10 min walk to the train station and less than 20min walk to main tourist attraction. The main point is that it’s opposite to La  Taberna del Almodovar, that has had a Michelin star every year since 2017 and it totally affordable to budget conscious travellers like we are. Hotel Serrano was extremely good value for money.

The hotel's location is convenient, and considering the price, the facilities are decent. The only minor issues were the bedding, which was a blanket, and the room lacked toiletries, although it did have an electric kettle. Overall, given the price, I'm satisfied.

Clean hotel, good location outside of the old town and near the train station. Bathroom was nice. aOur room however was very small, and incredibly warm. Instead of a double bed we got two singles pushed together. It also looked out onto an internal part of the building, with windows facing public parts of the hotel so there was no privacy if we opened our windows. Hairdryer you had to request for an extra fee. However, relative to the price, good value - you get what you pay for.

The room was quite comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked very well, which was a big plus. There was hot water, and the reception provided a hairdryer when I asked. Overall, it had everything I needed. However, the window was very small and faced the courtyard, and the biggest downside was the poor soundproofing - you can hear absolutely everything.

Old hotel. Location is 15 mins walk from historical center. Allows free luggage hold. Which is nice

The location is good, close to old town and new commercial area. But almost nothing in the room, no coffee/tea, no fridge, no safe in the room.

Not as per our expectations. Don’t know if it is popular in Spain that tea, coffee, kettle, fridge are not provided. And there is no sound proofing at all. Next door neighbour was like opening and closing MY door, which woke me up several times at night, as well as the gurgling sound being so loud.

The room is quite small and you can hear people at the outside and beside you. But it was very clean and smells good including the lobby. Location also quite near to the train station.

Surprisingly clean for a two-star hotel, but there wasn't even a hairdryer in the bathroom.

An average hotel with mediocre service, very small uncomfortable rooms, an uncomfortable bed and no views.

Location is just right for everything - transport options, historical sites, food and grocery. Was clean and front desk quite helpful. Only downside is that walls are thin and doors dont close softly so isnt necessarily quiet, eapecially when you have noisy guests who arent careful about their volume. Orherwise, pretty good.

A great value hotel, very satisfied.

A good location for passing through Cordoba for the weekend. Short walk from the train station and a 15-20 minute walk to the great cathedral and Roman bridge. Lots of nice local restaurants and cafes near the hotel and one of the main shopping streets. For those that want to do the hop on/off bus tour it is also a 5 minute walk from the Palacio de la Merced stop.
