Hotel Madinat

The staff were very friendly and helpful, Cristiano was great. Location is great in the alleys of the old town, close to every thing. Everything was really nice, the views from the roof terrace was breathtaking. We love the place, we will be back.

My boyfriend and I loved our 3-day stay at Hotel Madinet. It was our first visit to Cordoba. Our room was very comfortable and stayed cool despite temperatures in the mid-90s. The hotel is on a quiet street in the center and very convenient. We walked everywhere. The staff very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations as well as other tips. We loved that they gave us a list of the opening hours of all the local sites. We were there on a Monday and many things were closed.) We found the hotel to be very quiet and never heard other guests... The room was stocked with water and some nice chocolates were awaiting us. The breakfast looked very nice and we had a continental breakfast twice but we are not big breakfast eaters. The buffet did look good and the coffee was excellent. My only quibble would be that the glass partitioned bathroom is not the most private, and the sink is in the room itself. I don't know if all rooms are like that. We were fine tih it but others may not be. We visited the lovely rooftop but it was too hot during our visit to make much use of it. The hotel recommended pre-booking transfers to/from train station which was great as the streets are extremely narrow and require serious driving expertise.

This hotel is ideal for a short stay in Cordoba. Very well located for main tourist attractions. Hotel will arrange transfers door to door, whereas usual taxis can’t/won’t get that close. Beautifully designed hotel with all original rooms, and great facilities. Excellent shower, tea and coffee making. Extremely comfortable bed and the softest pillows. Spotlessly clean. Staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Terrace on roof to which staff will deliver drinks, so you can enjoy a sundowner in a lovely location. Plentiful and varied breakfast. Would certainly return when visiting Cordoba again.

Full of character with extremely friendly and efficient staff, this in in a good location for exploring Cordoba. The room was very light and spacious with a very hot shower. Very quiet, somehow without the usual hotel noise in the morning. Very good breakfast. A rooftop bar with reasonable shade. I would recommend.

Excellent check in and customer service. Needs slight attention to details such as having USB outlet in the room, having better rolling paper stand. You can't beat the location and quietness. When you walk in the door, you are greeted with a wonderful smell. Also, our room had a Hammam which made it extra romantic.

Such a great oasis in the heart of Cordoba. Our superior room was lovely and comfortable. We appreciated the interesting decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Arrange transportation with hotel staff as many taxis do not travel the narrow streets.

An excellent boutique offering excellent and personalised service; we stayed for four nights on our first visit to Cordoba. The whole building has been sympathetically restored reflecting the multi-layered cultures of this beautiful city. The attention to detail was apparent throughout and our room on the second floor was an oasis, within an oasis. The aircon was especially efficient, and quiet. The views from the roof terrace should not be missed and can be seen on the two attached photos. The hotel was very well positioned for the old city. Charming antique boutique hotel with great staff. All the right decorating touches and appropriate modern amenities. Very narrow streets lend themselves to hotel arranged transfers. Personalized checkin with recommendations for food. Superb breakfast with great attention to detail. We definitely would stay again.

this was an outstanding experience. Paloma was our hostess and she looked after all our needs with great aplomb. She is a wonderful hostess and everything turned out brilliantly.Resturant recommendations were truly excellent Joe & Mary Rowley
