Just returned from a short trip to Cork … but felt like a lot longer …we stayed here at Station View Tavern…what a lovely place …yes it’s a little tired but spotlessly clean and comfortable, we stayed in a double room but we where out and about, or in the bar (haha) most of the time…but most of all was the welcome we got from everyone, from emails before we arrived to us leaving. Honestly so friendly and helpful, it’s in a great place a short walk from everything, train station opposite, and the open top city bus stops right outside. If there’s anything you need to know just ask ! Everyone there is lovely ! We will definitely be back Thanks again xx

Stayed here with family for one night in March. if I was as a solo traveller I would not feel safe alone. Breakfast not included. Run down establishment , bed and sheets were clean but overall room was just ok. Mould in bathroom . I would not stay again

Terrible...Booked this room directly with the establishment. Beds Damp, Room Damp, no running water either hot or cold. I can't understand how this place is actually allowed to open to the public. I would not sleep here if I was actually paid to stay.

The Station View was lovely. The hotel was conveniently located with the train Station directly across the street, and there was a bus stop right outside the door. The city Centre was a short walk and Theresa, the innkeeper that helped and served us was amazing. She was warm and friendly and made us feel like family. We will go back!

I booked my parent into this “B&B”. The room was dark, damp and dirty with holes in the door. The pictures advertised do not match the location. The “tea making facilities” were laughable, cracked dirty cups. Although advertised as a B&B they do not serve breakfast but charge an arm & leg! The staff are very rude and ignorant, in no way helpful. Complete false advertisement!!!!

Our room was at the top of the property with three steep narrow bendy flights of stairs. the room was clean but basic. The windows needed some attention (replacement). would not open or close easily and the catches were broken. No available food on the property. Good part, the member of staff and the customers in the bar were friendly and helpful.

The good points, it's opposite Cork railway station also not far from the city centre. First impressions from the outside and of the bar not too bad. But once you climb the stairs and see the guest rooms I can honestly say I've never seen such filthy, disgusting, ill cared for rooms. Not cheap either. There are better places in Cork than this, look elsewhere is my advice.

Good location opposite the station and staff are friendly and helpful but no heating available in room until 5pm / 17.00. It’s January ! When I questioned this I was told it’s on a timer. I don’t think it’s unfair to say it’s not worth the price paid.
