The La Bassa villa is everything you’ve dreamed of and more :) best stay we’ve had with two couples. Private pool, breakfast, full kitchen, nice lighting, can’t get better. I would come back 100 times to this beautiful place in the country side!

Amazing little boutique hotel in a small village called Madremanya. Everything was perfect: the staff, the room, the food, the location, the price, private parking. Will be recommending to friends and family for sure. There is a vineyard closeby called Eccocivi - Can Bassa stocks their wine called Montrodo.

We had a fabulous time at Can Bass - Pedro and Isabelle have created something very special indeed. Beautiful location, gorgeous grounds, wonderful accommodation with lots of mindful touches make for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. It was a pleasure to stay at Can Bassa. Isabelle and Pedro have created an oasis of calm and beauty and a real home from home. We will definitely go again and can recommend highly, just unpack and relax. Madremanya is a beautiful village as are the surrounding medieval villages and the beaches are stunning. Go!

If you are into easy cycling with a new medieval village experience every 15 minutes you could not find a better place. Most of the cycling is off the main roads. Fifty percent was on rocky, gravel tracks which are relatively easy to navigate. TIP: Use GOOGLE MAPS. Just enter the next village as your destination (in cycle mode). Google knows every tiny farmer’s track. It would be difficult to navigate with map and signage only. TIP: Pedro’s upright, e-bikes (he has other options) for hire are perfect for the job. The accomodation and hosts are great. The rooms are clean and quiet with stunning garden surrounds. Breakfast is good but cold options only. The ‘honesty bar’ Is well stocked and reasonably priced. All in all, a fantastic experience thank you Pedro and Isabella. Our three days at Can Bassa was one of our best European experiences. Highly recommended. We had a very nice lunch at MAS POU in the village of Palau-Sator and a great dinner up the hill from Can Bassa at La Placa.

We have just stayed here again. I think it’s our fifth time which describes HOW much we love it. It is extremely comfortable, very relaxing and beautifully looked after by the owners, Pedro and Isabelle and their friendly staff. The breakfast is delicious , fruit, cereals, tortilla, jamón and delicious breads. Wonderful walks and places to visit nearby. It’s a gem. We will return!

Amazing stay, wonderful tranquil place. This is our second visit - great for families, self catering but with the benefit of being able to have breakfast. The rooms/houses are beautifully decorated and the staff are kind, knowledgeable and helpful.

What a beautiful place! I loved our spacious room with very personal touches. The garden and pool area are wonderful, you find a place to work undisturbed to to read and also to take a nap next to the pool. It was perfect for me that we could use the communal kitchen to prepare coffee and cold cuts. There also is an honesty bar with cold drinks (water, lemonade, wine,….). The staff and owners are always around, smiling and having the best recommendations. Try the greek restaurant approx. 6 km away. For cycling the region is perfect and don’t forget to book a massage with Anna after sport activities. We had a dream holiday!
