We stumbled upon this jewel right in the middle of downtown. The staff was friendly, the bathroom and bedrooms clean, breakfast was great, great views! Without reservations, the front desk was able to book us solid for a week, now that's above and beyond! Parking was right behind the hotel. Grazie Max!!

We stayed here for our half term ski holiday. Arrived with four large suitcases, no one asked if we needed any help taking them up to our room. The room was very tired looking, two small single beds for the kids, one with a very hard mattress. Decor is dated, bathroom had a mouldy patch in the corner of the room, and a strong sewage smell. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room which i thought usually comes as standard even in the most basic of hotels. Breakfast was nothing special. Boot room was not big enough for the amount of guests staying in the hotel. My daughter's ski poles went missing from the boot room - which sounded like a regular occurrence as i saw other guests looking for missing equipment. The only good thing about the hotel was the location as it's town centre and just across the square to get the ski-bus.

We had a family room. It was very cramped and the room was very tired. There were two very small single beds just about big enough for an 8 year old at most. We had a large mould patch in the bathroom and it smelled. To the back of the hotel is a noisy bar that kept us up most nights. The hotel is at best, functional, but very impersonal. Nobody helped us with luggage or when we left asked us about our stay. No warm welcome. Again breakfast was functional, ski and boot room was far too small. We had ski poles taken, again hotel sort of shrugged, no concern. It sounded like it happened a lot. Do not stay here if you want a warm, special Italian family experience.

If you like the mountains, Cortina is for you. Cortina d'Ampezzo will be the location for the 2026 Winter Olympics and it was selected for the famous movie "Cliffhanger" with Stallone back in the mid 90s. This hotel is a true gem, right in the center of the city, close to shops & restaurants. The rooms have been recently renovated and are great. Breakfast is included and good enough to allow you to skip lunch. Despite its central location, this hotel is quite affordable, much cheaper that many hotels in the vicinity and even across the street. Highly recommended.

It was our first time in Cortina to ski with friends and we chose this hotel based on location, price and other trip advisor recommendations. We weren’t disappointed - Comfortable rooms, Close to pedestrian zone, Close (50m) to ski bus pickup, Close to great restaurants, Friendly staff, Good breakfast. About all you want, need, and can expect from a smaller European hotel. Would definitely choose again if/when we return to Cortina. Only heads up would be the loud bar across the street if you like to sleep with the window open and you are on that side of the hotel. Minor observation in an otherwise great stay.

Cortina D’ampezzo is expensive and this hotel is no exception. We stayed here for 4 nights and I have to say the location is ideal; right in the middle of the town near several bars and restaurants. Around the town of cortina are lots of activities. Near the hotel is also paid parking (3 minute walk) for 1 euro an hour. There is parking at the hotel but just a couple of place and it is expensive and you have to give the reception your car key, no way! Personnel is friendly and breakfast is great! Lots of choice. For the rest it is all very moderate. Room was small and old with wood worms on the bed. No balcony and the view from the room was awful. Bed was okay but on the hard site. Bad room was very small. For almost 250 euro per night this was not sufficient at all.

We just spent four nights here and had a really great time. So many positives-location is absolutely ideal, room and bathroom were very spacious, everything was very clean. And the bed and pillow were so comfortable. We slept great. Parking (for a fee) is immediately outside the hotel-convenient and secure. Close to all the hiking and outings were had planned. And located right in the heart of town. I hope to be back.
