We have just come back from a week at the Melia Jardine and although we had a lovely time there are aspects which let me down which I will mention. First I think this hotel is marketed as a 5* but reasltically I would say it’s a 4 or 4.5. I just don’t think you can compare it to say the Bahía which is across the road and the same star rating. The staff are all lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice bright and spacious. The views from the outdoor 5th floor bar area are amazing on a clear evening. The breakfast is very good, lots of selection you really can’t moan about that. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner here so can’t comment on the evening meals. I think the pool area lets it down: The beds are very close together and on a busy hot day you are crammed in like a hotel pool you would find in Benidorm. If you want a double Bali style bed you have to pay extra which I was not impressed about considering we already paid quite a lot for the holiday to begin with. The pool bar is disappointing. You have to get up and que for a drink, staff do not come to your bed and take orders like I would expect in a 5 star hotel, and the ques at peak time were quite long. The pool bar food menu was rubbish too, if you wanted nice pool food you have to go sit in the designated restaurant. We prefer to order food to our beds on holiday especially in a 5 star resort. Overall the hotel is just okay, I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t say you get a full 5 star hotel experience which you get at the other hotels in Costa Adeje, we have stayed in almost all of them.

Hotel has good location and nice size rooms (we stayed in one of Levels Suites) If you Level customer you have option to have cooked breakfast in restaurant and overall it’s ok but we had to wait quite a bit for a drinks. There is also option of buffet breakfast (I think it’s good idea if you want to leave early and had a quick grab). We had 2 evening meals in hotel. One was buffet dinner (AVOID if you can) and second in a restaurant near pool- which was great! If you a Level customer you also have access to hotel lounge which is very nice especially to wind down after whole day of hikes. We didn’t use pool but used gym more less every day and it was, clean and spacious. Sadly downfall of this place (for us) was VERY loud evening entertainment (sometimes running well past 23:30) which stopped us to have a good sleep. Unfortunately this is the reason we will not be returning.

We stayed in a level room with a sun terrace on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was spacious with a seating area and a sofa. It was clean and had everything we needed. The sun terrace looked out over the sea and we had sun all day. Level facilities were good. Lovely outdoor seating area with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available and very tasty snacks and sweet treats. The breakfast in the level area was tasty and all the items on the menu freshly prepared plus lots of buffet items were available. My husband swam in the level pool and enjoyed it. We both spent time in the other pool too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff from the moment we arrived until we stepped in the taxi back to the airport. The staff were very busy seeing to guests needs but always smiling and happy to help. Would we stay here again ..??? Absolutely yes.

What a fantastic place for a romantic break. Hotel was amazing! We stayed in one of the suites with the Level package and it did not disappoint. Great selection of snacks during cocktail hour with branded alcohol. Fizz, wine and coffee available all day. Breakfast menu selection was great and food was delicious. Staff were friendly and views were stunning! We are already looking at booking for next year.

We returned for our 6th visit in January and the hotel is better than ever. The hotel closed for 4 months in 2023 for refurbishment (it wasn't 'tired' before though!). The big changes are that all rooms have been refurbished and freshened up (new furniture and décor, including balcony furniture, plus 50" TV screen - all 5 UK channels available, plus HDMI input socket!), the old Italian restaurant moved to another location, allowing the main Restaurant to be made more spacious and less noisy. What were previously known as 'Deluxe' rooms are now renamed 'Junior Suites' and the rooms really are spacious (35sq metres, I believe), with walk-in showers, a 6ft double-bed, a sofa-bed, and a small table and chairs to sit at. Just be forewarned that where you could request a twin room before are now mostly double rooms but with the sofa-bed which can be made up and is perfectly comfortable. In addition, other changes are a welcoming drink on arrival :) and a distinguished programme of classes during the week, all provided free of charge, plus great evening entertainment (we LOVED the duo on Mondays, with Olga singing and an acoustic guitarist - both super-talented). By 'distinguished' I mean things like classes in jewellery making, soap-making, art, liqueur coffee-making, local Tenerife cultural knowledge, and mindfulness which have been really well planned and thought through, setting the hotel apart from most hotels in our experience. The team of 5 (I think) headed up by Domenic (native to the island), with Cecilia and Christian are all great and put together a great offering. After the refurbishment it was great to meet again some of the old faces - Johann, Emanuele as porter and welcomer, Raul on Reception - all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. In addition, of course, the restaurant customer-facing team is headed up by the outstanding Laura, who is SO welcoming and absolutely delightful. The terrace, used for outdoor dining at breakfast and dinner has a stunning view, overlooking the town below and out to sea, and sitting drinking cocktails in late afternoon is the most relaxing place I have ever been. How could they improve? The bar staff are not quite as good as previous years, when headed up by Johann (who has been promoted) and, on occasions, the restaurant felt like it was under-staffed (drinks orders and tables getting cleared not as quickly as desirable). Will we return for a 7th time? 100% we will!

A lovely hotel, great staff and warm welcome on arrival! Our room was wonderful, cleaned every day and replenished with tea and coffee. The buffet food was of good quality, not flash, however I do feel they need to identify the vegetarian options a bit more clearly, and maybe put them all in one section. Also, the seafood paella did contain meat!! The bar staff were very attentive, and the cocktail making class was great fun.. the highlight for us! The entertainment in general was good. My only critique was at times that there weren’t enough sun beds around the main pool, yet the exclusive pool (which our room over looked, and we weren’t allowed to use) was generally empty and had plenty of unused beds. Apart from that, a great experience.

Returned from this hotel yesterday and am very disappointed. We expected a 5* experience and unfortunately, were not given this. Every day there were dirty glasses out at breakfast, and it would take about 5 attempts of looking for a clean one before doing so. Staff were made aware of a particularly dirty one covered in food that had been set at our table for dinner one night and when asking for a new one, they did replace it but didn’t seem bothered that someone had set the dinner tables with obviously dirty ones. I also picked up a plate for the buffet dinner one night and there was pink sauce and food dried and stuck to it underneath. Our Junior suite room (room 715) had a messy paint job with white paint on the wooden skirting boards between the tv and bathroom. Not the end of the world but I certainly wouldn’t expect it for a hotel advertised as luxury. Food was repetitive and hardly varied each night which was disappointing. The design of the hotel and the room we were allocated meant it was noisy with traffic going past the main road as access to rooms was not fully enclosed. We also had to complain about the noise of the adjoining room as it sounded like drilling, sweeping and furniture being moved. When I did tell reception they admitted that the previous couple had checked out and nobody should have been in there and we were told they would phone security. I phoned the guest service line asking for an iron and ironing board to be brought up and waiting 1 hour and still had nothing. Reception then told me someone will bring it up asap, another 20 minutes later and only and iron was delivered which proceeded to emit black bits all over our clothes as if it was not properly maintained. Large cracks all along the pool edge, and multiple chunks of chipped paint throughout the pool floor and mosquitos and other bugs in the pool meant it wasn’t a very relaxing swim. Finally on one of the nights, a ‘vegetable paella’ was put out on the buffet which was not veggie and in fact had meat in and was mislabelled. When told that it wasn’t a veggie paella the chef didn’t seem bothered by the mistake nor apologise.
