3 Star hotel, should be more! room was lovely. spacious and clean, food was great and the help yourself all inclusive on drinks was even better with a help yourself service. not many British staying so we kept to ourselves, entertainment was geared to those countries that were there, great value for the 4 nights we stayed, Would of liked to stay longer but was just a short break for my Birthday, its on my go back to list!

We had a short honeymoon at The Royal Suite and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Clean and friendly. We arrived 15 minutes before the evening meal finished and the lovely receptionist rushed us downstairs so we didn't miss out. Our little bungalow room was perfect for us. Enjoyed the option of the indoor pool to avoid the wind. The food was good in our opinion with something different every night- only the desserts were a bit repetitive. And the serve your self drinks was fine for us. Slightly longer than a 10 minute walk to the beach but we made it there and back, we look for closeness as my husband has MS just something to bare in mind if you do have walking difficulties.

We stayed for a week this November 2025. Check in was flawless and friendly. The staff worked very hard to make the resort, rooms, pool area and dinning room very pleasent and kept clean. Ceiling fan in spacious room was enough for this time of year. Outlets on either side of the bed, large closet and sofa area which we didn't really use as a couple. Cleaned everyday and towel change, save for one during our 7-day stay. However the sheets had holes in them and the screws sticking out at the foot of the wooden bed frame are not nice if you brush up against them. Not enough light in room in evenings. The poolside bar was well stocked and fun to mix your own drinks, although the alcohol was of the cheap variety and not very strong. We were disappointed by the coffee in the restaurant. The cappuccino in the machine tasted like cacao so we stuck with the coffee on tab. I finally got a decent cup of coffee outside the resort. Good selection of alternative milk: almond, oat, etc., though. The food was varied everyday and both the spacious inside and outside dinning area were always kept cleaned. We rented a car for our week's stay and this enabled us to travel the island on alternative days, swim in the sea every morning and have a bit more freedom. I would highly recommend this option. It is not too much more than the airport transfer for two to and fro from the airport We love the island and have been to Fuerteventura many times.

Hotel good for 3* . Clean in all areas. AC was a spinning fan ours only seemed to have one speed which wasn’t much use. Fridge in room - separate room for kids. Staff all friendly. Costs Calma is a quiet resort with not many shops etc. but we liked it as wanted a relaxing holiday. Food ok , different each night. Pour your own drinks in AI which was fab ( including spirits) pool table €1 which was great for the kids. Table tennis and tennis also available. Beach was nice too. Went to Morro Jable for a day which has lots of shops etc. €30 each way in a taxi. Good holiday

I went with my younger brother and the service was outstanding, always a cleaner or staff member available if needed and the breakfast variety is outstanding.

I cannot praise the staff here enough. We stayed for a week in early September and what a week we had! The staff go out of their way to be friendly, kind and courteous at all times- they truly cannot help you enough. The hotel is clean and tidy with rooms cleaned to a high standard. The pools are also maintained well. There is a fairly large variety of food on offer which rotates day to day and there's generally always something to please everyone, even the fussiest of eaters. It isn’t 5* gourmet food and does get a little wearing after the first few days but it’s perfectly fine. There's different entertainment on each evening and also further entertainment during the day. I don't agree with previous reviews about it being 'dated'. On the whole, it's what I would expect from a family friendly resort like this in the Canaries. It was a little like stepping back in a Time Machine in parts but I don't think that's a bad thing at all, reminded me of holidays as a child. The only things I will say as minus points is the fact the rooms don't have air con. The main room within the apartment has a ceiling fan which is somewhat effective but the side room with sofa beds has nothing. This could be made better with plug in fans or something, the rooms were often much hotter than outside. The location also isn’t the greatest, we didn’t realise this before booking. You need to rent a car if you want to do basically anything other than go to the beach (around a 20 min walk) or stay in the hotel because Costa Calma has nothing else to offer. We sadly didn’t know this before and were unable to hire a rental car once there due to lack of availability so saw none of the island whatsoever (no public transport to take you from here to further up the island where museums are). The wind can get irksome, the hotel is in a very windy part so inflatables and such blow away a lot! Some of the sunbeds are broken and they are all a little tired so could probably do with replacing. I’d also say I liked the hotel’s policy of not reserving sunbeds but we realised quickly that absolutely no one adheres to this so if you haven’t put towels down by around 8am, you’re not getting a sunbed! All in all a great trip though and I have nothing but praise for the incredible staff here!

Hotel rooms very outdated and dirty. Not much selection of food and what you get is overcooked. Towels were disgusting and didn't smell fresh even once. One if the days asked for towel change and thy had been used. Salad smims in dirty water. My kids just ate rolls and hot chocolate while there. Save your money or give ti charity but not this hotel
