Great location in the city. The staff are friendly and the rooms are ample big enough for self catering if you wanted too. The rooms are cleaned every day to a great standard. Situated very close to supermarket, bakery and the sea front. Restaurants near next too in every direction.

Well i must say it was a pleasent surprise. Our room was large ,clean andour bed was big and confortable. The staff was very helpfull large tv i think it had to be a 55" with lots of channels. over all a great stay and looking forward to our next one in june. the location is perfect for us as it is near the beach pubs and restaurant so we didnt need a car.

Me and my wife stayed for a night at The Hotel El Faro in Marbella for a night. The Hotel is clean and the room was quite large and the bed very comfortable. My only gripe would be that our room was on the 5th floor and there was a school opposite our window below, so we got woken at 7.30am by the pupils making a fair amount of noise as they arrived. The breakfast was satisfactory but nothing special. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Marbella, a 5 minute walk to the beach. Would probably go back again.

El Faro is good value in an excellent location close to the beachfront and main tourist areas including restaurants and other popular areas such as the Old Town. It is just a shame that the management of the hotel don’t see that a few small changes to the way they do things would make this hotel amazing, such as; ensure the lights in the hall ways remain on; supply washing up liquid and washing up cloth in the rooms with kitchenettes; play better music in the lobby and play it all the time; improve breakfast - set the tables; offer better array of food and don’t leave food sitting there for so long; get the marks off the walls; play great music at night when you want people to enjoy the bar… I think El Faro could be a super hotel if only the owner’s tried a little harder to make guests feel valued and changed a few things that say “we care”…

No isolation in the rooms at all. You would hear everything next to you and on the street. The cleaner forgot stuff in my room. The oversheet had mold on it. The breakfast was bad
