Alexandre Grand Teguise Playa

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights over Easter, we booked a superior room and were allocated a room on the 6th floor with a great sea view, we found the food to be generally good, with the superior room you are entitled to a free à la carte meal but the menu was not to our liking so we decided not to book this and stuck to the buffet, drinks were good and I was impressed that you could have a proper whiskey at the end of the night bar service on the all inclusive is until midnight which was appreciated, the revolving bar seating was interesting but not ideal for watching the evening entertainment which was a good way to spend the night, one of the pools is heated, you can tell which one as there are people in it Overall a great holiday and we would definitely return in the future

We have just spent a beautiful 10 days here for my 60th birthday. I booked an upgraded room and emailed ahead to ask for a perfect view as this means alot to us. The hotel said they would try their best and they didn't disopoint.Room was fresh, clean and a view to die for. Location is excellent and over a walk way from hotel is a beautiful rustic beach which was very pretty. From the front of the hotel great access to lots bars and resterant. Not to far from a thing. Staff I found were all polite, professional and helpful. There is an older grey haired gentleman on the bar of an evening that get be a bit of a nark but he was still excellent at his job. Long ques of an evening before entertainment started but went down fairly quickly. Food was good, two days bit hit and miss but always found something. Staff on grill in my experience were quite slow and possibly inexperienced as only had a few items cooking at a time, even in peak times. Really slow but still polite. Young lady on the 3.30 burger grill was the same, just not very experienced but plesent. Only cooking few burgers at a time on a huge hotplate with lots of people waiting. Pool bar staff are excellent. Quick and professional. Animation team are excellent, enjoyed the cocktail making. I found the sun loungers uncomfortable and would suggest toppers, other than that no other suggestions. Drinks were all premium and of good standard. Would I return.... In a heart beat. From check in to checkout this hotel did everything and more the staff were all superb from cleaners barstaff waiters and entertainment ,some reviews people have left about staff looking after people that are regulars is rubbish you make an effort and it gets reciprocated, the hotel has one of the best outlooksthe over the atlantic the rooms are upto date , the food was good with a good variety every day ,the hotel is situated close to all amenities all in all a superb hotel and holiday

Great Hotel. Comfortable rooms, nice views overlooking the sea, good food and amazing staff. Weather could have been better but that’s not the Hotel’s fault!

The location is perfect. The hotel atmosphere is absolutely stunning inside and out. even the rooms are well cleaned everyday. You get what you pay for there are all different types of board I was in inclusive plus and you get extras for what you pay. the welcome you get when you go to hotel makes to feel so welcome and apart of the hotel. Where my room was I was at the far end of the hotel so you could not hear any noise. You have two different pools a heated pool or the cold pool. I will be booking up again to go just hope I can get the same room as it was ideal for me and the husband.

This was our first stay. Beautiful hotel, yes it needs updating in some parts, but nothing too much. The bathroom I thought could be done with renovating. I thought sometimes our room couldve been cleaner and the corridor had sweepings that had been left for days. The food wasnt the best especially in the evening and mostly cold, but we found something to eat. Anyway that being said there were always plenty of sunbeds, the location was brilliant, the views amazing, drinks daytime and evening were lovely and all staff were so friendly and helpful. The bar staff and restaurant staff were the best, always upbeat with a friendly smile which is amazing as they have such long days and a lot of people to deal with. We would definitely come back to this hotel but I do think the food quality should be looked into. Thankyou for our lovely stay.

We visited the Alexandra Grand Teguise in July, a family of 4. On arrival the Hotel looked clean and a nice welcoming foyer however our opinion changed as the holiday progressed. The Hotel in general is clean and the rooms comfortable. Some of the hotel staff are helpful and friendly however some are not so and can be rude. The buffet restaurant is at best average, the salad station is good however the hot stations are very poor. Breakfast was disappointing but the fruit station was good. Lunch was disappointing with random hot food and some pretty questionable concoctions. Evening meal was also disappointing with again strange relations to themed nights e.g. the Italian night was nothing I could relate to Italy and the Canarian night was awful. The “Show” cooking or should be called “Slow” cooking was terrible! The main bar was OK but again the bar staff really didn’t seem happy and the cocktails were very poor and heavily iced based. The outside and pool area was good but if you weren’t up and down by 07:30 you struggled to get a sunbed. Location is great and there are many good bars and restaurants close by which we visited. Would not stay here again but would stay in Costa Teguise as the area is great.

We have been to this hotel for last 11 year's, we keep going back because it's disabled friendly, the staff in the dining room are absolutely brilliant and it's the staff that make it. The management always speak with us and nothing is any trouble with them The entertainment staff are brilliant day and night The entertainment at night is fantastic with acts from all over the world. This hotel is absolutely amazing.

First impression when you arrive are amazing as I have never seen a hotel reception like the Alexandre Grand Teguise Playa! The hotel is very well located, just a short walk from shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms were clean, with adequate space and a decent sized balcony with stunning views over the pools and sea. Staff were friendly, especially Louisa who introduced herself when cleaning our room and there is a full entertainment programme. Food was varied each night, but I think a larger choice of desserts would improve the dining experience.
