We had a lovely stay a Santa Rosa. The accommodation (2 bed) for our family of 4 was clean (cleaned almost daily), modern and spacious. We opted for self-catering. It was simple to use the breakfast buffet/evening meal if you wished and very good value - but we prefer to explore. Comfy beds, large bathroom. The pool was cold but you soon adjusted and the kids loved it. Daily football and bingo was a highlight for our boys. The pool bar was really reasonably priced (€2.50 large beer). Top tip - Jumpers needed at night in Feb. Cheap taxis available (literally only €3 to the beach), but only 15 min walk to the beaches and restaurants/bars are everywhere. The Supermarket and chemist are on the doorstep. We enjoyed several trips - the short volcano tour and a catamaran tour to La Gracioca. Thank you for a fabulous stay Santa Rosa and we really hope to return again for winter sun.

We have just finished a week's stay and can't say we'd stay again the apartments themselves are lovely with a homely feel and the cats who came to visit every night were great to. The food is very basic and small choice to choose not many veggie options. Most of the staff seem miserable the English lady who works on the bar is lovely. The bar closing at 9 however is a super buzz kill when you fancy a late drink and no nighttime entertainment can make it boring overall we had a lovely time but wouldn't stay again

1st visit here. Great staff.. service food and accommodation. We had one of the refurbished rooms ..very modern and roomy. Went with Jet 2... Resort baggage check in for airport is Fantatic ..no queuing at airport to get suitcases sorted. Hope jet2 will continue this. Will certainly book again

A nice place with a good pool area, and the location is excellent. The rooms are clean and the cleaning service etc is great. It look s a bit dated in places, but I know they are activley rectifying this. The renovations taking place during our stay was almost non existence in terms of noise etc. The only downside, is the pool being rather cold during our stay. All in all, a great, affordable place to stay which exceeded my expectations, and would definitely return.

We have just returned from 10 days af Santa Rosa. We stayed in room 2010 which was a superior 1 bed apartment. This didn't have a pool view but was very quiet. It was one of the upgraded rooms and was very nice. We could see they were in the process of upgrading some of the bungalows which will be lovely as they are quite dated. The pools were freezing but ok once you were in! They were also saltwater but that didn't bother us. We stayed half board. The food was average but I think its pretty much what you expect at hotels. The two guys from the animation team were amazing! They went above and beyond with my little one and he loved them! The soft play and bowling were fab extras at the hotel. The hotel itself was in a lovely location. There were some bars & restaurants on the door step but we also enjoyed the walk into the square which took about 15 mins (or a lovely walk along the sea front which took about 30 minutes). The beaches are lovely in Playa Bastian and Costa Teguise. It was our first time to Costa Teguise and we are already looking to return next year. We are also looking to return to this hotel as all in all we had a lovely stay.

Loved it! Great location and a pleasant stroll into the town. It was ideal for our family break, the room was a basic one bedroom appt which housed the two children on the comfy beds, leaving myself and my better half on the fold out sofa. Pool was pretty cold, but ideal for helping shake off a hangover! Shout out to the entertainment team, they were as enthusiastic and entertaining as I’ve seen anywhere- Yarrol in particular, what a legend, his bingo games got everyone going, from two fat ladies, to David Silva impressions in football and water polo commentary, he was outstanding. Great personality and brilliant in involving people, thanks Yarrol! Staff behind the bar are friendly and drinks are good. Brekkie average, but otherwise would certainly come back to Santa Rosa.

We have recently returned from a week away stay here. We paid for half board and found the resort to be good quality and reasonable for the price we paid. They are currently undertaking refurbishments and installing air conditioning in the upgrade. Our apartment was on the ground floor, to the side of the property layout. Unfortunately overlooking a derelict building (poss hotel judging by the size of it), however this was shielded with plants and green temporary screening. It was the quieter side of the resort. The apartment was fairly equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave and hot plate. I would struggle to cook here if it was self catering due to the lack of equipment available. Cleaning and towels replaced daily, with the exception on Wednesday and Sundays. We had a few ants in the apartment but nothing that storing all food and drink in the fridge to help combat, was a very minor irritant. The bathroom was equipped with a walk in shower. A couple of the plug sockets were loose and one has some wiring exposed, let reception know when we were leaving, not an issue for us as adults but would not be happy if children could access. There is a sofa bed in the lounge and a tv and coffee table. The bedding and towels were not of the best quality. There are no towels available by the pool so make sure you bring some from home. Reception warm welcome and information re local tours etc.. they also called a cab for us for the Sunday market, cost us €22 and we got a bus for €5 on the way back, get to the market early as was so busy. Breakfast was your standard hot cooked and continental offering, fresh fruit available daily. The evening meals were varied and had choices suitable for what we had paid for half board, the cost of drinks was reasonable. The staff were attentive and friendly. We used the outside swimming pool, very cold but would be a lovely dip in the summer months, there is an indoor pool, looked good we didn’t use it. The gym was well equipped with plenty of free weights and machinery, there was also a few classes advertised, unsure if this attracted an additional rate. Have included photos for layout and also pricing for the drinks. Hotel is 18-20 mins from the centre, there is a nice beach walk that takes a few mins longer to the centre of the resort with the beach. The nearest bus stop is Playa Roca (to the right of the hotel as you exit) or Playa Bastain (to the left of the hotel as you exit). We went to Puerto del Carmen on the inter city bus, plenty of signs and info. Lots to do there, we stopped in Areciffe (I wouldn’t bother not much there). We did a buggy tour 3 hours €180 good day out and the island tourer trip 9 hours €120 well worth it. Overall we enjoyed the break as we have not been to Lanzarote before. Would we return, probably not, just not our thing as too many Brit’s about and hard to try and get an authentic experience. (Appreciate the irony as a Brit myself). We went with Jet2 and had a good break. Ple

Just coming to the end of a 23 night stay at Club Santa Rosa and it's been a great holiday. The complex feels very relaxed and I found staff at all levels to be friendly, cheerful and efficient. My apartment was bright and spacious with everything I needed for self catering, although I mostly just prepared snacks and had meals elsewhere. On the ocassions that I used the dining room, I found a good choice of dishes from the self service buffet that were tasty. Facilities were well maintained. Pool water was initially cold but clean. Nice neighbourhood with bars and eating places nearby but an easy stroll into the town centre aswell. On the bus route for other towns, and bus stop nearby. My experience here has been enjoyable and I would definitely stay here again.
