We stayed at the Blue bay on April 27th for 6 nights and we had a good time. Here’s my review. - Check in 15:00 had to wait 3hrs but could use pool bar: Check out 12:00 - would expect a quicker turn around especially with guests checking out much earlier. - Toilets out of order at the pool bar and not the cleanest. Chairs broke at the pool bar also, could do with a refresh. The Room - - Fine, kitchen facilities - so can self cater. - Thin walls can hear people in the next room, thankfully our neighbors are who travelled with us. Staff are all very nice and friendly. Gym - More than adequate. Area near the reception would be nice to be open on a night with the bar and light music, slightly on the chilly side on an evening. So for those who don’t want loud music in the theatre hall and sit outside. Towels changed every three days and no cleaning on Wednesdays Fine for the money we paid, wouldn’t paid much more. Charge for the iron €3 a day, using an external company. But it was an iron from George Asda 🤣 Cocktails very thick syrup like, Amstel on draught which is good. Wines - not great at all, I had a sip on the first night and that was it for the whole holiday. Food is average, not much selection, always something half decent on the grill bit and that changes every night. Most food was a good temperature. No soft drinks Coke Zero etc available at breakfast. Entertainment, fine for families. Very loud music - couldn’t tolerate more than an hour each night before bed. My rating based on £497 package holiday with flights and transfers with Jet2 is 5/10. Not because it’s bad, but it lacks certain things I’d look for on holiday. Defo a budget holiday, great for families. I wouldn’t return, but had a lovely time.
