We was in block C, close to kids pool which was fab however the room was really run down especially the bathroom which had mold and paint flaking, cocktails were horrible but the spirits were fine. Food got worse as the week went on with my partner having to go to the restraunt staff with another family on holiday as the chicken was literally raw. Birds were also picking at the snack bar as there is no staff to man it 😂 pool was cold but no worse than anywhere else and was nice once in. Entertainment team went on a break 11-3 everyday & don't work Sundays? Short walk to bars etc. on day 3 we literally ate out every meal. Cleaners came one day at 3pm, there was cups and plates left out by neighbouring balcony since we arrived that never got cleaned even though staff walked over the grounds past them. Paid cheap and didn't expect the world was more the cleanliness 🙂

Lovely hotel in a good location. Food was good- always something to eat for all the family. Beds were a little uncomfortable and the chairs in the dining room need a good clean but apart from that a great hotel. Would definitely return

Great hotel for the money. Foods good it’s a big hotel but the restaurant never seems to busy. Plenty of choice for food. Can’t complain for the money at all. I’m not a reviewer that moans about the decor being dated or not being many channels on the tv in English because they are obvs people that go on holiday and sit in there room. For the price we paid for 2 adults and a child you couldn’t get a week in a travelodge in England. Would recommend and would return. We have been Costa Teguise 5 times and this was the cheapest hotel we stayed at but was the best out of all stays.

We paid £1500 for 2 adults and 2 kids for a week all inclusive in June. You get what you pay for and I am so glad it didn't cost us any more. We normally stay in 4 star hotels abroad and having read some of the reviews before we arrived of course I was dubious but having paid very little for the holiday I thought we'd give it a chance. Check in was quick. I had requested a high floor room overlooking the pool and a ground floor pool view for our parents who travelled with us. Both requests were met and our rooms were fine. The sofa beds however are disgusting and very uncomfortable. The beds weren't great either. We did have a leak in our room but it was sorted immediately. We didn't have any cockroaches but our parents had 8/9 in their room, they also had little white insects crawling about their countertop. We had a few ants on our balcony but nothing to annoy us. The dining room chairs are appalling, the dirt and filth is something else. Breakfast is fine. Plenty of choice. Lunch in the pool bar isn't great. Two choices most days between toasties/burgers/pizzas/nuggets. Dinner was fine also. Plenty of choice and we never went hungry. The "theatre" is the most depressing and grim place I think I've ever encountered on any holiday. Again the chairs in here are awful the more uncomfortable chairs. We ended up going out every evening to avoid the misery of the theatre. The entertainment team do their best and there are plenty of activities during the day. The pool area is lovely and very clean. Music during the day is nice. Both our kids got sick with V&D. In the twelve years we have been going on holidays as a family they have never been sick. So take from that what you will. Would I recommend to a friend? Absolutely not. Our standards are obviously a bit higher having only ever stayed at 4* hotels. If you lower your standards then you'll probably enjoy this hotel. But most definitely not for us.

We was a bit concerned reading the reviews on here but previously came to this hotel in 2019, back then there was also very mixed reviews but we had a good holiday. This time round the same it’s a good value hotel for a 3 star. Yes the dining room chairs and the rooms could do with a refurbish, but that a side the hotel itself and our room was clean. Food wise there is always something to eat, lots of choice and breakfast in particular is good. Pool area is really good for kids, with inflatables allowed which really helps keep the kids happy and all of the staff seemed pleasant. The entertainment team work hard to keep the kids occupied in the day and there is always something on in the evenings, mini disco etc. However this is mostly ideally suited for younger families. Location is also good about a 15 min walk to Costa Teguise main square. Overall we had a really good time and the hotel remains good value for the money we paid.

Good hotel, pool area really good very family friendly, food I would say good always something for everyone from the grill fish ribs pork chicken, to pasta to pizza to salad. Staff were good but not as friendly as most other hotels ive been in except reception staff and entertainment team tgey were great always something to do archery tennis and loads of other games, foam party every wednesday was fun. Evening entertainment was good but venue not a big place for size of hotel tables went quite quickly and it wasn't height of season. There was a gym it had just enough to get by for a week free weights and a few machines. 15 minute walk to costa teguise was a nice walk or 30 mins if you go by the sea. Few Negatives No lifts upto rooms and some are on floor 3 so cases have to be carried up by yourself No room on last day to shower. Not enough staff in dining area tables weren't cleared quick enough. Food not coming out quick enough areas were cleared of food and not replenished quick enough including plates and dishes. Not enough umbrellas to shade people in the pool area I will say this to all people, KIDS/CHILDREN should only have factor 50 on, the amount of kids I saw with bad sunburn and blisters and saw parents putting factor 30 oil on or less was unreal. The canaries are very hot plsces

This place was OK overall, the food though i found not very good, most staff were friendly enough except for the blond woman on reception who was probably the rudest person i have ever met working in hospitality. The animation team did a good job,Julia was very friendly.I was ill with sickness and diahorrea for a day or so but fair play to the Jet2 rep and hotel management who came up to my room to see if i was ok as some friends i had made were a bit worried as they had not seen me about, this place has the potential to be very good

We stayed at the Blue bay on April 27th for 6 nights and we had a good time. Here’s my review. - Check in 15:00 had to wait 3hrs but could use pool bar: Check out 12:00 - would expect a quicker turn around especially with guests checking out much earlier. - Toilets out of order at the pool bar and not the cleanest. Chairs broke at the pool bar also, could do with a refresh. The Room - - Fine, kitchen facilities - so can self cater. - Thin walls can hear people in the next room, thankfully our neighbors are who travelled with us. Staff are all very nice and friendly. Gym - More than adequate. Area near the reception would be nice to be open on a night with the bar and light music, slightly on the chilly side on an evening. So for those who don’t want loud music in the theatre hall and sit outside. Towels changed every three days and no cleaning on Wednesdays Fine for the money we paid, wouldn’t paid much more. Charge for the iron €3 a day, using an external company. But it was an iron from George Asda 🤣 Cocktails very thick syrup like, Amstel on draught which is good. Wines - not great at all, I had a sip on the first night and that was it for the whole holiday. Food is average, not much selection, always something half decent on the grill bit and that changes every night. Most food was a good temperature. No soft drinks Coke Zero etc available at breakfast. Entertainment, fine for families. Very loud music - couldn’t tolerate more than an hour each night before bed. My rating based on £497 package holiday with flights and transfers with Jet2 is 5/10. Not because it’s bad, but it lacks certain things I’d look for on holiday. Defo a budget holiday, great for families. I wouldn’t return, but had a lovely time.

The hotel itself was okay, the staff were nice, some of them obviously didn’t quite enjoy their jobs but reception were always happy to help. The room was fairly clean with the basics however the shower head was damaged which never got fixed. Although the cleaners came in daily you didn’t really get that fresh clean smell as you walked back in so made me wonder what they actually did. The beds are terrible to sleep on and the third bed provided was broken and old. The dining chairs had some questionable marks on them. The air con was great though. Around the pool was fine but the actual pool was freezing and could also do with being repainted as there is a lot of the paint missing, the slide was out of action as well. One of the life guards I wouldn’t really trust to save anyone as he spent most of the time eating plate after plate of food. The entertaining at night was okay but felt a little bit like it was organised chaos at times. The food - breakfast was fine however found that they would wind it down too early so not always a great deal left. Lunch - a lot of the same foods which was fine but ended up going out for some lunches. Snack bar - the first couple of days we found that the birds were enjoying the food as well as people but overall it was okay but could do with being refreshed a bit more. Evening food - after 2 nights we decided to go out every other night as just found the food a little too repetitive however the food was cooked well and some variety. We also found that as the half term was coming in the food variety did improve but this should be the case all year round really.
