Aparthotel Adagio la Défense Courbevoie

Satisfied with my week in the studio; everything was nice and clean. The reception was very good. The only downside was that some of the reception staff were very cold (a smile is free). Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay because of the location, the amenities, and the quiet. I will probably return.

The aparthotel itself is quite nice. The room is spacious and cozy, like an apartment. But the whole experience was ruined by the cold, like outside. Considering it was early April, there was no heating in the room. None at all. The air conditioner ran for about 30 minutes and then turned off, displaying a breakdown and a need for repair. The room was 18 degrees Celsius. After contacting reception, they said they would fix the problem, but I returned to the room in the evening and it was freezing cold, and nothing had been resolved. I had to write a complaint to Adagio headquarters. The next day, they supposedly fixed the air conditioner after I returned to the room, but it worked for 30 minutes and then broke again, with an icon on the remote indicating it needed service or repair. Basically, it's impossible to stay in the room with such temperatures. It's so cold that it feels like you're outside. Your body freezes, your feet freeze, your nose starts to run, and you're starting to feel like you're coming down with a cold. Is this a 4-star hotel? Really? 3 stars at most. And the service is absolute crap; they didn't even offer to upgrade my room to one with working air conditioning. Staying in a cold room in early April is torture, not comfort. Do you think I'll choose the Adagio again? The answer is obvious.

The hotel's location is perfect for visiting Paris. The rooms are comfortable, but I was cold and couldn't turn on the heating in my room, so I had to use the hotplates. Breakfast is expensive for the limited selection of pastries and other items, which is disappointing. Now that I know, I'll be more careful next time.

The hotel stopped providing paper towels after they were used up. They only provided toilet paper, which was very inconvenient. One of the two elevators was broken, so it took a while to go up and down the stairs. The refrigerator had a good cooling effect. The microwave and tableware were also very practical.
