Radisson Hotel Cincinnati Riverfront

I never fill these things out, but…  I’ve stayed here maybe 7 times prior to this stay. The last time before this was two years prior.  This hotel has gone downhill gradually in both cleanliness and overall maintenance. Honestly, less than five years ago it was always fantastic. Five star. But the last time we were here two years ago, it wasn’t as clean as it had been, and service was slipping.  This stay over Labor Day weekend 2026, they were packed, and appeared understaffed. It took a long time for rooms ti be ready and there were long lines.   When we got our room, there were (used) shops bars still in the shower and hair inside the shower.  The shower didn’t work. There was water, but it wouldn’t go though the pipe to the shower head.  I reported the shower issue but not the rest because I did the best I could to clean up the area. We left for the night and were told maintenance would repair it while we were gone.  Maintenance changed the divert switch but didn’t check to make sure it worked because it still didn’t work  The counter by the tv was very sticky. I didn’t complain about that, but should have. Something was spilled on it and not cleaned.  The entire 7th floor stunk of ********* when we checked in, when we came back to the room that night and again in the morning.  That is not necessarily the hotels fault merely pointing it out.   We did not go to the restaurant this time. It has always been fantastic   But I can’t comment on it for this stay. I honestly hope it is still as good as it has been in the past.  Prior to this stat there has always been a night time manager known as the man in the suit.  He always kept guests happy and took care of all issues.  I did not see him this time.

5 minutes after I got to the room I used the restroom and the toilet almost flooded. A lady came to fix it and had to replace a few parts which took 45 mins. She was nice but we planned to go out having to wait for the toilet to be fixed delayed us leaving. The next day the toilet once again was not working and we had to use the bathrooms in the lobby. I spoke to the manager on duty and asked for comp tickets for breakfast because of the inconvenience he said he could move us instead. We were moved to a room next door. Which had a toilet that ran consistently VERY LOUDLY for no reason. I was woken up by the very loud toilet throughout the night. This morning the tv is showing weak or no signal and not working. Overall this is good location for downtown 10 mins away but there are better hotels near by. The building is old, the staff was decent. But I will not stay here again.
