Discovery Parks - Cradle Mountain Reviews

We arrived after 6pm so we needed to call the resort hotline to find out what’s the latest check in instructions. It would be great we get informed about this in advance. But the resort hotline was very helpful and we were able to get what we needed to check in and reached our house. Our house was fully equipped (except cooking oil excluded). The main restaurant is on the other side of the road and you needed to book in advance. We were “forced” to move our dinner earlier after reservation without a proper reason, so it’s a bit disappointing on the experience for family traveling from far to stay at your place. The only suggestion is the lighting in the living room. It was quite dark and only with pure white light. It should have ambient lighting color for vacation. Thanks

It was walking distance to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Although we encountered wild animal welcomed us when we first arrived, but all the experiences were lovely and memorable. The bathroom was also good, they turned on heater so we feel comfortable in the bathroom. And everything else was great to accomodate us!

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the accommodation. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Good choice if u choose to stay near the cradle mountain. It takes less than 5 min-drive to the national park. The accommodation is big & clean beyond our expectation. If you’re lucky enough you’ll see the lil guests (wallaby/wombat) as a surprise !

The reception didn't really know where the camp kitchens were for dormatries. Sent us to go down the. Hill Furthur when their directly next to our room. Great location to the mountain. And lovely restaurants nearby

We were group of 8 included elderly and teens. Booked for 2 cabins, sleep for 8 Nice and comfy place Comes with kitchen, living room, dining table with heater. About 30mins drive to cradle mountain summit.

The room isn't huge but it's very warm, and the value for money is excellent. They provide utensils, so if you don't want to eat out, you can bring your own instant food. Stargazing at night here is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this place; other spots are just too expensive.

The room was really close to cradle moutain. The facilities were good.The public areas were very clean.

Perfect location to go hiking in the mountain

The cabin was clean and the location was excellent, very close to Cradle Mountain. The bathroom was also kept very clean. However, the customer service staff weren't very patient when communicating, and their attitude was just average.

Luckily it's snowing and we are staying indoor with the fire.

The reception closed at 6pm and we arrived after that time. We got our keys from the box outside the reception. There is a store in the reception which also closed at 6pm. We managed to buy some food in the supermarket on our way to the resort. But the stove can be ignited. It seems that it was out of battery. A nice guy lived on the camping car gave us a box of matches and we finally managed to ignite it and cook. The cabin we chose was quite new, clean and tidy. One downside is that floor kept cracking when we walked on it. We saw pademelon outside our cabin. The resort was just next to the cradle mountain visitor centre so it saved us a plenty of travelling time forthe next day.

A two-bedroom suite located near the visitor center, making it very convenient to access the scenic spots. The rooms were clean and tidy, and service feedback was prompt. The living room had an electric fireplace, which kept it warm, but the kitchen equipment only met basic needs. The entire suite was not cheap, and a washing machine would have been a great addition.

We had a fabulous time at Discovery Parks. The cabin was perfect for our family, well designed and warm even in the snow. Cant fault it, the place was exactly as described and excellently located for visiting Cradle mountain walks.
