Waman Qorikancha

We stayed at the Waman for one night. The room was small and cramped. There is very limited space to put your back pack/suitcase. It was clean for the most part. The view outside our window was onto the roofs of other buildings and there was garbage and articles of clothing tossed about on them. It felt very sketchy. The rooms are not sound proof and we purchased ear plugs so we could sleep. One positive is that Breakfast is served early for those that want to catch the first bus up to machu picchu. The lobby looks great and the hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and shops. The staff here are very friendly and special kudos to the bartender upstairs (Jean Luc?) for being super friendly and accommodating. The hotel offers guests a free Pisco Sour in the evening.

I stayed at the Waman Qorikancha Hotel for 5 nights. The hotel in Cusco has three stars, but it does not deserve it at all. Apart from the excellent location in the historical center, I can't say anything. I was put in a room (like an attic), where there was nothing: closet, fridge, chair, heater, even hangers or at least nails for clothes, glass and much more. The most important thing is that the shower didn't work(( After unpleasant explanations (absolute unwillingness to listen to me, it was true gaslighting), after calling the owner I was moved to another room, but it was different only on the floor and the fact that the shower worked, and that's all. The room is so cold. It's a pity that everywhere: on the street, in restaurants, the guides are such friendly, kind people, but at the reception they are so indifferent and inhospitable. Answering the questions, they don't look at you, they continue typing on the computer, as a result you won't get what you asked for. I think that in any hotel the phrases "I can't help you", "It's impossible", which I heard at the reception many times, are unacceptable. It is very sad that with such amazing, unforgettable excursions in this wonderful country, with the excellent organization of my tour as a whole by Beru Peru, I had such a sad experience in this hotel. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very dirty, they forgot our breakfast-box, the hotel is in transformation and the worst: the personal did hidden several expensive things from our private luggage who where in the room!! We really don't recommend this hotel. It's the worst hotel in whole Peru!
