CUSCO VISTA GUETS HOUSE

Great location. Just 5 minutes walking to square of arms, 20 minutes walking to the saqsaywaman… attracting points. The hostel staffs are very friendly and nice. The hostel house is in the small street, taxi can not directly stop at the front door of the hostel. Amazing views from its restaurant to the town center.

It was very good value for money. Owners and staff were lovely, and helpful. I, through my own fault, misplaced my watch, and having travelled 40 hours with sleep thought that it might have been taken. The owner took the time to show video footage which removed all possibility of it being anyone's fault but my own. With the aid of my phone torch, I reported shamefacedly to the owner that I had found it under the back corner of the bed. Not getting an ensuite was a little disappointing, because they are there, but the shower room was opposite. Due to the elevation, the room was somewhat cold at night ( September), but bed clothes very warm. Taxi from the airport was $20 (€17.20). Taxi to the airport organisef by the owner was 25 Peru Sols (€6.25). Highly recommended for the budget traveller.

The staff are very helpful. The smell is just too strong. Also the window of my first room was broken so I was freezing all night. Overall good view, good food, helpful and friendly staff.

The staff are very friendly. The view was amazing. The smell is just too strong though and even the washrooms are.. Just uphill walking though and it’s a bit tough to walk back. However, if you’re fit, it shouldn’t be an issue :) Overall, it’s a good place to stay for couple days.
