Inti Punku Cusco - Centro Histórico Hotel 

If you stay at this hotel, absolutely make sure you don't get a room with an interior-facing window (one that doesn't connect to the outside). Otherwise, it will be incredibly stuffy, making it impossible to breathe properly and sleep. Don't even count on the air conditioning; it's completely broken. Before, I closed the interior window because I was afraid of noise, but I couldn't sleep at all and found myself struggling to breathe. Only after opening the interior window did a little air come in, and I was able to manage some sleep. The soundproofing of the door isn't great. During breakfast hours, they play music, and you can hear it clearly through the door. The interior-facing windows are directly above the breakfast area. See the picture. Another very unpleasant thing happened: I returned to the hotel at 10:40 PM and found the main entrance locked, all doors were locked. I frantically knocked on the main door. Luckily, there was still a guy at the front desk on duty, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to get back in. I've included a picture to prove this point. The front desk staff's English is just so-so. Also, I was mistaken for Japanese again and given a registration slip in Japanese. I asked if they had slips in other languages, and they said yes. But even after seeing my passport, they still gave me the Japanese one. I don't even know what to say. Then they were all smiley and playful, I don't know if they were joking with me or what. Anyway, I can read Japanese, and it was all Chinese characters, so I just filled it out. The breakfast was just okay. All these *** Western country breakfasts are pretty much the same; only a few dishes offer some variety or are particularly tasty. The best thing at this hotel's breakfast was the ham. About a 30-second walk from the hotel, there's an intersection with a lot of trash and many stray dogs eating from it. Since there are many tourists, these stray dogs are used to seeing them and generally won't bother you. However, for safety, I still kept my distance from them.

I stayed at this hotel for two days and was very impressed. The two men at the reception desk were incredibly helpful—they arranged packed breakfasts for my journey, brought me hot coffee, and even showed me ancient ruins in the hotel's basement. They were so kind and pleasant; it's wonderful to experience such hospitality as a tourist. The room was lovely with a clean bed and a nice balcony overlooking Cusco. It was very comfortable to sleep there. The bathroom was very large with great water pressure, which was so important for relaxing after an active day. This hotel is suitable for longer stays; it's really charming. I highly recommend it.

New or renovated hotel near the center; they prepare breakfast to go when you leave early for an activity.

The room was perfectly temperature-controlled. The hot water was ideal. The bed was quite comfortable and large. The shower was perfect. ✨ Excellent cleanliness.

Mayeli's service was outstanding; she was attentive, respectful, charismatic, and always willing to help. The facilities were excellent, with clean linens and amenities.
