Casa Cartagena Boutique Hotel & Spa

One of the best experiences ever. An oasis in the very busy Cusco with a fantastic, green courtyard, nice bar and a small restaurang. Spotless room (and balcony) with everything needed. The small SPA was perfectly relaxing and SPA treatments were fixed within hours. Super friendly and serviceminded staff. THE place to go to in Cusco. Only one thing has room for improvemnt: the pillows.

Clearly the best small luxury 5star hotel in Cusco right within easy walking centre to main square and centre of old town area. The staff are simply amazing with superb service from reception to breakfast and any thing we needed. They recommended us a great place for out entire family for a haircut, local Peruvian restaurants and free transfers to airport. We had mild altitude sickness and oxygen provided easily in all rooms. Rooms were superbly cleaned and enormous bathrooms..if I could give it 6 stars, I would.

Exceptional hotel - centre of Cusco, but incredibly quiet and relaxing. Only 15 rooms so guests are all very well looked after. Spa is ideal especially after days walking in the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure to stay here for 5 nights in total and this is one of those hotels where everything meets or exceeds the expectations. Rooms are clean, good showers and beds are comfortable. All the staff is polite and helpfull, the welness area (whirlpool and large steam cabin) is great and we had the best massage ever. Breakfast is super, fresh fruit, options to order eggs or pancakes and there is fresh bread and pastries. We have had a few diners in the restaurant and price/quality is really good. Every day they offer Pisco sour and two amuses which is complimentary to the booking. Location is on a 5 minutes walk from the main square. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Cusco!

Loved my stay here at Casa Cartagena in Cusco. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, and the amenities such as the spa was wonderful, especially after hiking Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. The welcome tea and chocolates with free water was also a nice gesture. Bartender was also very friendly and gave me and my friends a personal pisco making lesson. Location was good, walking distance to Plaza de Armas. Would highly recommend 10/10!

Breakfast at the Hotel is great ! I believe is Soraida that takes care of you like a "relative" !! All the guys at the Front Desk extremely helpful and kind always !! Location of the Hotel and its personnel are 10/10 ! Just 2 blocks away from the main square !

We were unlucky with our pre booked accommodation in Cusco (which turned out to not be great) but by a stroke of luck we found accommodation here. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The food and spa were really good - especially after a hard day’s sightseeing at altitude. They also provided complimentary canapés and Pisco sour in the evening. The rooms were spacious and the grounds stunning. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for a great stay.

An unexpected gem in the centre of Cusco. It was truly a most beautiful setting and our room was absolutely amazing. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Treated myself to a spa treatment a full body massage and got an awful lot for my money. Most highly recommended if you’re planning a trip to the beautiful city of Cusco
