Welcome Old Town Hotel – 800m from the Japanese Bridge

The hotel has a great location but is small. The drain was clogged so the water wouldn’t drain after a shower. It was ok.

The room was good enough for a comfortable overnight stay, and overall it was decent for the price. However, the window view was not as described on the website. It was advertised as a “garden view,” but in reality, it overlooked an open area with a few concrete structures. The staff member was very helpful and friendly, and we genuinely appreciated his assistance. However, he repeatedly asked how long we would be staying in the city and frequently tried to recommend hotels and other services. He even called us while we were out enjoying the city, which felt a little excessive. He also recommended that we purchase Ba Na Hills tickets through his contact. We decided to book them ourselves through other websites and ended up saving around 400,000 VND compared with the price he quoted. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, and the staff was helpful, but I would recommend checking prices and booking tours independently rather than relying solely on the recommendations provided by the hotel.

The staff were all incredibly kind and greeted us with smiles, which made our stay very reassuring. The room was clean and comfortable, and the quiet environment allowed for a restful night's sleep. This hotel is highly recommended as a base for exploring Hoi An. If I ever visit Hoi An again, I would definitely choose to stay here.
