Hotel Front Beach

A fairly clean and tidy hotel. Very good for the price. During the low season, there aren't many tourists, so even the sun loungers are empty! The only downsides are the lack of towel hooks in the bathroom, not enough power outlets, and no fruit at breakfast. Breakfast isn't a buffet; you pre-order your dish the night before. Another important point: the hotel is called "Beachfront Hotel Hoi An." If you type the name from Trip.com into a map, it directs you to the center of Da Nang, in the opposite direction from the airport. There's beach access (5 min walk), but it's not equipped (no facilities). Otherwise, friendly staff, a clean hotel, towels by the pool, and overall everything is quite great.

It's a bit out of the way, but it's quiet, no crowds, and crossing the road isn't scary. The sea, well, who knows. They're renovating the beach, and a dredge is pumping sand nearby. This makes the water dirty and murky, but people are still swimming. There's a beach club next door with a cool pool. You have to buy a drink and pay for entry. You can also get some food there.
