I booked a trip through amex to this hotel and they actively avoided calls because amex would speak english. They also actively avoided amex’s calls because they didn’t want to refund our hotel even though it was within their policy’s guidelines to do so. The owner of the hotel is a crook and plays these tactics especially against foreigners who have a tough time contacting them through the english agency or by themselves as english speakers.
