Swiss Inn Resort Dahab

Everything was good, except that the driver who called a taxi from the hotel to Sharm Hotel was a bit emm. The hotel said the driver wanted 50 dollars (I gave 30 dollars + 1000 Egyptian pounds). We had to leave before sunset and I wanted to watch the sunset on the way. As a result, the driver stopped at a small shop near the Dahab checkpoint and said he wanted to drink coffee. I drank this coffee and browsed my phone slowly for half an hour. I urged him twice and it was dark before I left. (He was not in a hurry because he knew I was not going to the airport.) As a result, the hotel in Sharm asked me for money and said I had to pay at least 10 dollars. He said he thought I was going to the airport, blabla, and the hotel only gave him 30 dollars, blabla. He yawned on the road. I was afraid of driving fatigue and talking to him. He cried poor all the way. Finally, he asked for money... I said I called your colleague and I clearly paid the equivalent of 50 dollars. So you still have to pay me 10 dollars. The old man didn't say anything and left. He is really greedy and stupid.
Inmo Divers Home

The staff makes you feel at home immediately, helps you with arranging things in Dahab if you want. first time as a solo traveller, this was really welcome. Everyone was very helpfull and kind. It was my first dive experience and the dive centre was really good. Professional staff, good equipment and organisation. It's a nice 'basic' hotel. Don't expect a big tourist resort vibe. Because it's not so big, it feels nice and cosy. There's a swimmingpool, but if you cross the street, you can already swim in the sea! (and a beautifull reef to snorkel or dive). The room was fine, I didn't need more. Surprised to have a 'real' fridge (not a mini cooler). there's also a desk, chair, 2 closets, mirror... The daily housekeeping does a good job to keep everything clean. i was really happy with the sea view, it's worth the little extra cost. Restaurant: breakfast is a basic buffet, but they try to change little bits on some days (like falafel or bean stew) and they make fresh pancakes and ommelets on request. They have a menu with several options for dinner : it tastes good and is cheaper than in the town. good option if your exhausted after diving. if I would have to say a down point : The wifi connection was very unstable in the room. But better close to the reception/desk. But that's not the most important when you're there ;-)

Dyarna Dahab Hotel

I stayed here last week for a 2 night stay as part of an Intrepid Basix Tour through Jordan and Egypt. I really liked this hotel. It is a basic accommodation and should be reviewed as such. The rooms were big and clean with a cute balcony (great view) and I never had an issue with hot water. The pool area was very nice and loved sitting, relaxing and watching the sunrise. The breakfast was not the greatest but there are plenty of very cheap options nearby. ( Yum Yums was my favourite!!) WIFI in Egypt in general is not the greatest so I have a Vodophone SIM to use when I come to Egypt. 250LE will set you up nicely for where ever you go. The service was excellent. The staff were kind and courteous and their English was great. I loved that it was located on the walkway that can take you essentially anywhere in Dahab. I love to walk so this is an added bonus. I recommend this property to those that enjoy an authentic experience rather then luxury and I will personally stay here again.
Jaz Dahabeya

The overall service was very good. We stayed for three days and two nights. Due to the bus schedule, we arrived at the hotel as early as 9:00am. The hotel was very considerate and provided us with an early check-in at about 11:00am. You can take a good rest by tidying up your room. The cleanliness of the room was as expected, except that the lights were dim and the hot water was hot enough, but the water pressure was average. Employees and even lifeguards are cleaning various areas whenever they have time, so it is no wonder that the hotel environment is very clean. For seaside hotels, it is the hotel with the fewest mosquitoes I have ever seen. The quality of breakfast and dinner is up to par. There are a large number of desserts, delicious breads and various salads. There are many types of cheese and milk to choose from. Only the meat is of average Egyptian standard, and there is still room for improvement. But the two dinners had different places, which was a little surprise. The most satisfactory thing is the service of the hotel staff: due to our bus schedule being cancelled, we need to change our itinerary and temporarily need to change the originally charged late check-out of 6 hours ($35 USD) to a 3-hour late check-out ($17 USD). USD), the waiters Mr. Hussain and Mr. Kevolles were very willing to understand our situation and solved our problems. Thank them. Suggested areas for improvement by the hotel include the following: 1. Increase the frequency of flights to and from Dahab Downtown 2. Improve power supply stability 3. Check the room equipment regularly. For example, the wash basin, toilet and hot water kettle in our room were all broken. But Jaz Dahabeya made our stay wonderful. Great memories of Dahab.
Rafiki Hostels - Dahab

This was my first time at Rafiki, and it definitely won’t be the last! I really enjoyed the place, and the Rafiki team was so friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect the place is always clean. Special thanks to Gouda and Mohammed for making it this clean. Even though I was traveling solo, I didn’t feel lonely at all. The vibes here are amazing and encourage you to connect with others. This was my first solo trip, and while I felt a bit confused during my first few hours, it quickly became easy to bond with people. I’ll never forget the St. Catherine hike it was absolutely incredible! Don’t miss it, guys; you’ll love it. What’s even more fun is meeting people for the first time and feeling like you’ve known them forever. I’ve already made so many unforgettable memories. The food is delicious! Chef Reham is amazing, kind and friendly and you’ll enjoy a fantastic breakfast made by her. Don’t miss the family dinner, where Chef Reham cooks a special meal, and everyone eats together at the hostel. It’s such a unique and warm experience. I still have two more days here, and I wish I could extend my stay, but unfortunately, work calls. Thank you, Rafiki, for the wonderful experience! Thank you, Layla, for your patience and lovely reception. She was the first person I met at Rafiki, and she was so friendly! You can ask her about anything, and she’ll always have an answer for you. I’m really going to miss all of you, thank you for making my stay so special!
