This was a nice quiet hotel. Location was so close to walking the town. Everyone very friendly

Great location- we could walk to everything! Nicely maintained for an old property. We did have steps to our room and didn’t see an elevator. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The two bedroom suite was perfect for a girls winery weekend, located right in the center of Dahlonega square. All of the amenities were perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean! Thank you for a great stay!

We always enjoy staying here. The property is clean and the staff is so friendly. We love being able to walk to the square.

Hotel is a block from downtown, easy walking. The 32 room hotel is actually next door but shares a parking lot with the restaurant. It is fairly new and in good condition. No fitness room or pool. My window view was to a parking deck behind. There are a few private balconies on the front side with rocking chairs. It's worth a little more for the views i guess but a nice and new facility for small town Dahlonega.

I love Smith House! The location is perfect for walking downtown. The property is very nice and clean. I will stay there again.

The hotel is historic and comfortable, and the staff members are very welcoming. Parking is easy, and the location is ideal for walking around and exploring downtown Dahlonega. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Smith House already!

We decided last minute to go to Dahlonega just for one night. We decided on The Smith House because it was in town and we could walk wherever we wanted to go. The room was a king room in the lodge but did not have a balcony like the ones in front. We had a small window that faced the parking garage. The parking was ok. With all the weddings and parties we were able to get a good spot. The room was very comfortable. The only bad thing was that the shower stopper would not stay up so my husband was standing in a bath tub filled with water as he was taking a shower. I would highly reccommend staying here as we would love to again. Only be sure to ask for a balcony if you want to sit and relax in a rocking chair.
