Beautiful property that retains the old world charm. Immerse in the hotel decor and large gardens, have breakfast or sip afternoon tea in the restaurant verandah while enjoying the lake and distant mountain views. Service is impeccable. Location is excellent.

The hotel environment is beautiful and not far from the city center, about a ten-minute walk. However, the hotel is really old, the room is small, and the lighting isn't great. There's no charging port by the bed, which is quite inconvenient.

The palace is absolutely stunning, and the service is exceptionally good. The concierge was proactive in helping with luggage and more. The location is also excellent. It definitely deserves its five-star rating. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed at throughout our trip to Vietnam, but it was absolutely worth it.

The location is excellent, right between Da Lat Night Market and Xuan Huong Lake. You can enjoy lake views from the hotel entrance or from rooms facing the lake at any time. The hotel itself is grand, luxurious, and has a classic, antique feel. It truly makes you feel like an 18th or 19th-century French aristocrat. The garden is also beautifully maintained and opulent. Breakfast was good, and I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea starting at 2 PM. However, Da Lat mornings and evenings are cold. Even though I used the fireplace heater in my room, it was still chilly, and I ended up catching a cold. It's a good idea to bring warm clothes or pajamas for sleeping. P.S. When I booked the Royal Superior room, I wasn't aware that this room type only offered a street view. Trip.com didn't provide accurate information. The room assigned to me had a broken phone, a broken heater, a faulty shower waterproofing, a broken bathtub drain stopper, and a few other issues. It felt like the hotel assigned me the room everyone else avoids. I even wondered if I was discriminated against when I first arrived, as I was dressed very casually due to the heat in Hanoi just prior. Nevertheless, some staff members were very friendly. The breakfast was decent, and the afternoon tea was quite good. The view from the hotel lobby is beautiful. It's a nice place for taking photos, but not so great for staying.

This was the most expensive accommodation of our trip, so I had high expectations, but unfortunately, the shower didn't have hot water and I couldn't use the bathtub in the room 🥲🥲. I was really looking forward to the luxurious bathtub, so that was a big disappointment. Other than that, the room was cute, and the breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent! The overall interior was luxurious with plenty of photo opportunities, so I was very satisfied with all the pictures I took! ◎

We stayed at the Dalat Palace heritage hotel for 4nites end-August. The hotel is indeed a very lovely vintage accommodation. But the complimentary high tea was really bad; the food at the buffet was cold & hard; when we requested for camomile tea, we were told that they do not have it; when we asked for peppermint tea instead the service staff also said they do not have it too. I must say the service standard is not up to what is expected of a heritage hotel. When I asked for the dinner menu at the restaurant the service staff did not understand me & they referred me to another staff who was equally unclear. Finally a senior crew/manager came to attend to us. Nevertheless, the hotel is a lovely romantic place to stay in, put aside the food & service standards!!
