Very nice owners and spacious room. We even got hot milk in the evening and plenty of drinks to stay hydrated and they helped us carry the suitcases. The room and hot tub itself is really nice, but the view shown on the booking itself is not the same as the real view. I attached a picture taken there to show you the real view. You can still see the pagoda, but note that it is hardly visibly in the dark (no lights on it) and there is an electricity cable in front of it, which makes the view less. For the rest the stay has been really nice and they did everything they could to make our stay pleasant, so I would really recommend it.

Beautiful hotel managed by a family with very good service. Our original room’s smart toilet bowl kept closing even when someone is on it, and we requested for a room change. They quickly shifted us to another room and even provided a gift as apology. Breakfast is clean, healthy, and delicious. The overall vibe of the hotel is very zen, but some amenities look worn out and needs to be refreshed. Pick up/drop off service is very useful for us as we are traveling with big luggage.

We had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and the location was good, with the main touristic attractions being easy to access. The breakfast was a bit limited but otherwise would totally recommend it again.

The hotel is close to the busy Dali old town, but in a quiet neighborhood. Hotel employees are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has Japanese Zen setting both inside the guest room and in the courtyard. We enjoyed watching sunrise from the room and the courtyard.

Definitely a great place to stay with a good view and large room provided. Would definitely recommend families and friends to stay. Breakfast is hearty.and.healthy

We stayed here in August as a group of seven and booked three rooms on the third floor. Rooms & Views: The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and generally very clean. Each room has huge, comfortable bed(s) and all the amenities you would need. The highlight is the large panoramic window—on a clear day, you can see the sunrise over Erhai Lake right from your room. (Unfortunately, it rained during our mornings, so we missed the view, but it would be stunning!) Location: The hotel is accessible from the South Gate of the old city with a short walk of a few hundred meters up a gentle slope. This is manageable for most travelers, but it could be a bit challenging for the elderly. On the positive side, there’s a beautiful resort-style restaurant right next door, which was very convenient. Service: The staff were wonderful—friendly, helpful, and attentive. They even arranged and paid for our taxis to the train station, which was a huge help since finding Didi rides in Dali can be tricky. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was delicious, with generous portions that kept us fueled for the day. Overall, this is a great place if you want large, comfortable rooms, beautiful views, and a quiet stay near the old city. Highly recommended for families or groups of friends.
