First off, the location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Yang Liping's Sun Palace. It was so relaxing just to chill in the room and do nothing. It's also very close to Moonlight Pub, and I even got a Thai massage nearby. The breakfast coffee was a latte with latte art, and they also offered afternoon tea scones and goodnight milk. I really hope this B&B thrives!

Exceeded my expectations! I visited Shuanglang last year and had afternoon tea here, and absolutely loved the location and atmosphere. This year, when looking for a guesthouse, I surprisingly ended up booking the same place! The experience was fantastic. I parked my car at the Peninsula parking lot, and the guesthouse staff came to pick us up directly. The moment I saw the room, I was completely captivated. The location is superb – perfect for sightseeing, exploring the ancient town, and just a 50-meter walk to the boat dock. Restaurants are right downstairs. The guesthouse provides daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and even a goodnight milk service. When I bought food back in the evening, the staff helped me with plates and even stored leftovers in the fridge. I'll definitely be back next time! Honestly, I highly recommend it!

This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at in decades. After booking, they'll contact you with detailed instructions, including pictures and videos, and even offer a pick-up service when you arrive. The staff is wonderful! The young lady at the front desk is not only pretty and provides excellent service, but she's also incredibly strong (she effortlessly carried both of my suitcases!). The owner's service is equally fantastic – I can't say enough good things, you really have to experience it for yourself. The lobby is meticulously decorated, and every afternoon you can enjoy a delightful afternoon tea while taking in the beautiful Erhai Lake scenery. You can even watch the sunset right from your seat and just quietly soak it all in.

This B&B is right across a walkway from Erhai Lake, and Nanzhao Style Island is directly opposite when you step out. It's perfect for photoshoots, and you can even feed the seagulls. Downstairs is the B&B's own coffee shop, which is very beautiful and Instagram-worthy. The complimentary travel photoshoot was taken right there in the cafe. The afternoon tea was thoughtfully prepared; the waffles were freshly baked, and the yogurt was delicious and not too sweet. Breakfast was also good. The owners are very welcoming and provide excellent service. The young lady at the hotel even informed us in advance that she would meet us at the intersection to pick us up, and when we left, she accompanied us to the intersection to wait for our ride. She was very responsible and attentive!

The room was clean and tidy, and the inn is right by the sea with great views. You can't drive directly to it, but the owner offers a tricycle pick-up and drop-off service, which is very thoughtful and excellent.

Spent two days in Shuanglang, Dali, and the relaxed, slow pace of life was truly enjoyable. However, it was quite challenging to find palatable food with a lighter flavor profile. Luckily, we stayed at Erhai Xinglai Inn, where they served freshly baked waffles for afternoon tea and homemade rice noodles, porridge, and other nutritious, light, and delicious breakfast options in the mornings. Enjoying the food while gazing at the sea view really helped shed a year's worth of fatigue. The three owners were especially warm and helpful [strong][strong][strong]! They provided tricycle pickups and drop-offs through the narrow alleys and even generously shared their waffle-making secrets [laughing][laughing][laughing]. The service was top-notch, and the local folk customs were incredibly simple and honest. I accidentally left my wallet somewhere, and half an hour later, it was still exactly where I'd left it, truly embodying the ancient virtue of 'no one picks up lost items on the road' [strong][strong][strong].

Absolutely amazing! The location, ambiance, and service are all impeccable! It's the most tastefully designed guesthouse in Shuanglang! The breakfast was delicious, and they even offer hot milk in the evening. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay!

The location is absolutely unbeatable. Right downstairs, you're on the beach, and it's close to all the main attractions, yet surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The sea-view king room was very spacious, more than enough for two people. The guesthouse is also incredibly photogenic. A big thank you to the photographer who took our travel photos—we absolutely love them. Plus, the service was incredibly thoughtful.

The service here is absolutely top-notch, truly ceiling-level! I've stayed in so many star-rated hotels, but none of them felt as genuinely welcoming as this place. Right from booking, they added me on WeChat in advance to communicate and send over a guide. And once I arrived, the care and attention were incredibly meticulous. The sea-view king room had an amazing view; I could watch the sunset perfectly right from my bed. The breakfast was incredibly delicious; I had it for two consecutive days and didn't get tired of it at all.

I loved being able to see the sea during the day, and at night it was wonderfully quiet, without the usual hustle and bustle you find in old towns. The room was just the right size, not cramped at all, and very clean. The café and bookstore on the first floor were a pleasant surprise – it was so relaxing to go down and sit there in the evenings.

Just look at the pictures! I snapped these sunsets and sunrises on the fly. The design is really something – it manages to block out the not-so-pretty Nanzhao Style Island while also framing the scenery beautifully. The afternoon tea was delicious, and so was breakfast.

The room was great, fully equipped with excellent service. A staff member even helped with luggage during check-in. The breakfast and drink offerings were thoughtfully tailored to travelers' habits and needs. Fantastic!
