Mengjing Yayuan Hotel (Dali Ancient City)

Extremely satisfied! The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the South Gate of the old city, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. We stayed in a rooftop room with an absolutely stunning view! We had a close-up look at the majestic Cangshan Mountains and the mysterious clouds circling them. The service was very attentive! The front desk staff were so kind, and a charming young man enthusiastically helped us with our luggage both when checking in and checking out. [Room Perks] Brand-name hydrating facial mask: After a relaxing bath in the evening with bath salts and rose petals, applying a face mask was pure bliss!

Great location, right by the South Gate of the old town, and you can see the ancient city from the room window. The service was excellent; they were very helpful in recommending nearby attractions and places to eat. The hotel offers complimentary drinks, snacks, fruit, and even afternoon tea. The on-site parking is convenient for those traveling by car. The room was clean and quite spacious.

The room was very spacious with views from both the front and back. The room service was also very thoughtful; afternoon tea and evening desserts were delivered right to our room! The rooftop mirror offered stunning views of Cangshan mountain, and you could even catch the sunrise from up there. Getting in and out of the ancient city was super convenient, with electric scooters available for rent right outside the door, making it easy to explore the nearby area.

What a fantastic experience! I was a bit hesitant before booking, but I was so pleasantly surprised after checking in. My daughter even said, "Mommy, I want to give this guesthouse five stars! I love it so much here, and I want to stay here again next time." You see, a child's approval is the best testament. After comparing several options, I chose this hotel. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the South Gate of the Old Town, and very close to other attractions. You can park right in front, which saves you the hassle of dragging your luggage over cobblestones. The rooms are clean and hygienic, the service is attentive, and the breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious. It was a great stay, highly recommended. Plus, the hotel's attention to detail is a huge bonus – the toiletries are the same惠润 (Shiseido uno) series I use at home, showing excellent taste and making for an extra comfortable stay.
