The host and his wife were so warm and hospitable. They will invite you for tea sessions and good conversations. They shared recommendations on tasty food in Dali, and even shared some for Shaxi when they realised we were heading there. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The walls are a little thin so you can hear your neighbors sometimes but that's not a big deal for us.

We spent some great days at this quiet but central little hotel. The owners are a friendly and attentive young couple. The rooms are nice, clean, with great bathrooms, the beds are comfortable. We have seen quite a few hotels in China by now and can absolutely recommend the August Inn.

這絕對是大理隱藏的寶藏客棧，就在古城東門旁邊，但在主街的小巷10米內，外面一切喧囂都被自動隔絕，清幽，安靜，待在院子裏也是一種享受。地理位置真的絕了，到哪都方便。房間古樸大方又不失現代，乾乾淨淨，床品也鬆軟舒適。 特別值得一提的是熱情好客的老闆，他自己整理了一個寶藏餐廳名單，親測無一踩雷，你不需要做任何攻略，他是有問必答，除了大理，還有大理周邊的隱藏玩法，衹恨不能常住個十天半個月。總之，住這就對了，絕無遺憾！

完全超出了我的預期。民宿有兩個院子，風格不一樣，特別有味道。每天都會在兩個院子裏來回切換，感覺像是同時體驗了兩種不同的生活氛圍，特別有意思。尤其是下午的時候，陽光灑在院子裏，來杯茶，完全不想動。還有一個專門的讀書寫字房。最讓我驚喜的是，酒店裡還有一衹可愛的小貓 簡直萌化了。房間的裝修也特別有品位！
地理位置也很棒，離古城特別近，步行一兩分鐘就能到。不過説實話，酒店的院子太舒服了，第一天本來計劃去周邊古鎮逛逛的，結果一整天都賴在院子裏，完全不想出門了哈哈。
老闆和前台的小姐姐人都特別好，熱情又貼心。我這次來大理完全是p人行程，啥攻略都沒做，全靠老闆推薦。

民宿離古城特別近 周邊還有兩個停車場 我是自駕過來玩的 建議直接停在南水庫停車場 然後去八月客棧 衹需要5分鐘不到的路程就到了 老闆還準備了新年季的小卡片 很用心啦！謝謝～床很舒服 推薦的吃食也都很好吃 不踩雷 喜歡大理 下次還會來住 ～

喜歡清靜的朋友可以定這裏，確實是鬧中取靜的好地方哈哈哈，來了以後不想出去，不過附近吃的也多，老闆也很熱心地整理了好多當地美食給我們，反正就是跟着吃就行，這一點真的很贊！
