The public areas are very spacious and perfect for kids. The location is also excellent, quiet yet convenient for getting around. Highly recommended!

The linen sheets here are incredibly comfortable – a real treat for anyone who loves to sleep in, and so gentle on the skin! The cleaning staff are wonderful; they keep everything spotlessly clean. The large terrace on the third floor is an absolute must for catching the sea of clouds and stunning sunsets; it's so peaceful and relaxing up there! The Cosmos flowers in the small garden on the first floor have already started to sprout and should be in full bloom by September. I heard the small cabins will also be completed by then – I'm so excited for our next visit! Oh, and the manager's specially crafted blue cocktail is absolutely delicious! Senyu is truly the perfect spot for coffee during the day and drinks at night. The fresh juices the staff make are also incredibly tasty. The open-air cinema is wonderfully comfortable, and those bean bag chairs are a huge hit – they just envelop you in comfort!

If you're someone who appreciates a slow pace of life, this place is an absolute must-visit – it's incredibly peaceful. They also have the adorable Xiao Ba, and petting him/her was the first thing I'd do every morning after waking up. The service at the guesthouse was truly exceptional and so welcoming. Even choosing to spend my last day just unwinding at the guesthouse was incredibly relaxing. If only I had more vacation days, I would have loved to extend my stay for a few more nights! The owner was incredibly welcoming! The room was well-appointed and comfortable. It's definitely somewhere I'd want to return to! The cats were all so cute, and we even bought some plum wine that we really enjoyed there. It's truly perfect for families looking for a relaxed, slow-paced getaway. Just a heads-up, if you're after a lively, bustling atmosphere, this might not be the spot for you! 😂

In Dali, I checked into a guesthouse at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, and truly embraced a slow-paced life. Every day, my routine revolved around just three things: watching the clouds roll in, enjoying meals, and simply daydreaming. In the early morning, I'd watch the clouds gracefully drift across Cangshan. In the afternoon, I'd sit in the courtyard, sipping tea, feeling the mountain breeze, and watching the kittens play. As evening approached, dinner was served at the bar, with the owner bringing out authentic local dishes. At night, I'd relax on the grassy terrace, watching a movie and sipping on cocktails specially crafted by the owner. It suddenly dawned on me: why does life always have to be a race? Just as the rain stopped, two or three gentle, curved rainbows softly arced across the sky. You don't need to pack much. Just bring a heart ready to slow down.

The public areas are absolutely wonderful! You can enjoy a drink, watch movies, admire the sunset, or simply have tea. I truly savored the peace of being alone while gazing at Cangshan Mountain bathed in the sunset. What a bonus that they screened a movie in the evening; watching it under the night sky was a truly immersive experience. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Dali!

Excellent value for money! The stay was very comfortable, and the owner was super chill. We even managed to catch the evening movie, which was a great bonus and perfectly suited our laid-back travel vibe. I'll definitely bring my friends along next time.

The place was impeccably clean, spotless throughout. The owner's hospitality was absolutely exceptional. The cotton-linen bedding felt incredibly luxurious, so comfortable that I drifted off to sleep the moment I lay down. Every morning, I woke up to the fragrant scent of the rice paddies, and each evening offered breathtaking, ever-changing sunsets. There's also a lovely bar on-site where you can unwind with a drink. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Both the owner's guesthouses in Dali and Lijiang are incredibly comfortable! Erhai Lake isn't far, there's a spacious lawn, and an evening mini-cinema along with cocktails. The peace of enjoying a cocktail and chatting with good friends after the little ones are asleep is just wonderful. With only 6 rooms, it's never crowded, making for a truly cozy and intimate stay. It's absolutely perfect for someone like me who craves moments of quiet.
