Dali Fan Chen Sea View Resort Hotel(Erhai store)

While Dali's attractions and the overall travel experience were just average, my stay at Fanchen Banshan truly exceeded expectations. The hardware and views are outstanding. Perched halfway up the mountain, the open vista offers panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. Both the public areas and room designs are very tasteful. The service was impeccable—neither stiff nor distant—and all requests were promptly addressed. I especially want to mention that due to a change in my itinerary, the cancellation, by policy, was non-refundable. However, the owner was incredibly understanding and helped me coordinate the cancellation, which left a very positive impression. Compared to many establishments with rigid rules, this place has a much more human touch. It's perfect for anyone looking to simply relax and enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend it.

The service was excellent. When we arrived, several staff members came out to help with our luggage and bags. The environment was fantastic; you could see Erhai Lake directly from the balcony, and both the tea room and the lobby were very photogenic. Afternoon tea was also provided free of charge (and the portions were huge, we couldn't even finish it all!). The Bai minority welcome dinner was delicious too. The room was very clean; when we checked in, it felt like the sheets, duvet, and even the sofa cushions had all been freshly laundered (exceptionally clean, and they even offer free laundry and drying services!). The above was my 12-year-old's review, and here's mine! The complimentary welcome dinner, daily breakfast, afternoon tea with fruits were all high-quality, not at all diminished because they were free. On the contrary, the standard was very high, and breakfast was incredibly rich and well-balanced! They also provided complimentary pick-up and drop-off service! When I left, they noticed I drank tea every day, so they changed the usual flower cake souvenir to an exquisite tea gift box! They washed and dried my clothes every day! This was incredibly convenient; no need to bring a suitcase full of dirty laundry home! The room view was unbeatable, with an incredibly expansive vista – a real treat for the eyes! The room layout was unique and unconventional! Opening up to the living room, lighting the fireplace at night, with the crackling fire, the deep blue lake, and the starry sky, made me forget all worries and truly healed my soul! All the staff were polite, discreet, and attentive! They responded quickly to all requests and subtly noticed my needs! Unforgettable!

Absolutely perfect! I've stayed in over 100 hotels, both domestically and internationally, and this one has the best, most thoughtful service – truly No. 1 in Dali. It's quiet, clean, and uniquely styled. Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious. They offer complimentary afternoon tea, dinner, and even a bonfire! It was so cozy for our family to sit outside by the fire watching the projector. When we checked out, they even gave us flower cakes and tea. I honestly can't find a single fault. It's made me feel off-kilter and disappointed with other hotels now. Don't hesitate, just choose this place – and no, this isn't an advertisement!

This was my first time in Dali, and I stayed at the best hotel by Erhai Lake (I don't care, Dali Fanchen is number one in my heart) 🌹🌹🌹. The environment is great, the service is excellent, and the food is fantastic – everything is just perfect. The butler service is incredibly attentive, and all my questions were answered and resolved quickly and patiently. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Thank you.

The hotel is located in a village, but the moment you step through its doors, it feels like entering a secluded paradise. It's beautifully designed and has a fantastic ambiance. The large island counter and pool right at the entrance are stunning, and the tea room on the first floor is also very atmospheric. We stayed in two different room types for our group of four: one with a pool terrace and a standard room. Both were lovely and very quiet. I particularly want to commend the hotel's service. They were incredibly responsive and the staff's attitude was excellent, making us feel very comfortable. The hotel provided a free shuttle to take us to the Red Rock Cafe halfway up the mountain. When it rained, they even sent a dedicated car to pick us up. They also picked us up from our previous hotel and dropped us off at our next one, all free of charge. As we were leaving, they gave us flower cakes and even let our child pick a cute blind box. When my child wasn't feeling well, the hotel even prepared congee and steamed buns, which was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's breakfast, afternoon tea, and welcome dinner were all very elaborate and well-presented. Full marks, highly recommended!

The service was exceptional. We arrived late at night, but everything was already prepared for us, including dinner and the hot tub, which was even covered with plastic wrap. When we checked out, the front desk attendant even gave us a Pop Mart figurine!

Fan Chen Banshan Erhai Branch is, without a doubt, the best accommodation in Dali. The half-mountain location offers unobstructed views, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed, and the private hot spring with sunset views is incredibly therapeutic. The butler service is attentive and discreet, and the privacy is excellent. Staying here makes you just want to relax and clear your mind. This was the most perfect choice for my trip.
