This was my first time staying at Home2 Suites by Hilton. The room comes with a microwave, a capsule coffee machine, and a small counter with a sink, which made it super convenient for washing fruit. The room decor is exceptionally cozy. The parking attendant was extremely patient while guiding me in, and another gentleman proactively offered to help with my luggage. Every staff member we encountered in the hotel greeted us warmly. The breakfast was also fantastic—the ingredients were fresh, and the desserts looked so tempting that I couldn't resist having a few too many, haha! If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the shower water pressure; if that could be a bit stronger, it would be absolutely perfect.

Had a fantastic stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Dali Erhai! The hotel staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. Since we arrived quite late, they went out of their way to reserve a quiet room for us. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. The option to borrow buckwheat pillows was a wonderfully thoughtful touch that completely maximized our sleep comfort. Breakfast offered a rich variety with great flavors, leaving us fully satisfied. Overall, it was a delightful stay with staff who genuinely care about their guests. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Dali. Highly recommended!

Staying right by Erhai Lake this time, I was totally won over by the surrounding food scene. The hotel is just a 900-meter walk from the Daganyi Food Street—a bustling farmers' market by day and a late-night hotspot packed with locals after dark. A bit further, about 1.3 kilometers away, is Xiaoganyi, a street famous for its Halal delicacies. The hotel breakfast features rose fresh milk rice pudding and rice paste, and the pounded chicken feet are deliciously sweet and sour. I ate there for several days and never had the same thing twice. Dali in October is cool and refreshing morning and evening, not stuffy at all.

The hotel has a very convenient location. It's just a five-minute walk to Erhai Moon Wetland, perfect for moon-gazing and watching the sunrise. The Aegean Shopping Park is right next door, and it's a little over a 900-meter walk to Xingsheng Bridge, where you can capture the European-style bridge against the backdrop of Cangshan Mountain during the blue hour. Breakfast features freshly simmered mushroom soup, rice noodles, Ersi (local rice cakes), rose-flavored fresh milk rice pudding, grain purees, and pounded chicken feet, with the menu rotating daily. There is also a sweet afternoon soup served every day—so comforting to have a bowl when you get back. You can also try your hand at the intangible cultural heritage craft of Jiama rubbing, pick out some creative souvenirs, and leave a wish on the wishing wall.

Chose Home2 Suites this time, and it exceeded expectations in every way. At check-in, the receptionist handed us a local sightseeing guide and a list of nearby restaurants. We followed her recommendations and didn't hit a single dud—the grilled milk fan and BBQ around Daguanyi and Xiaoguanyi alleys were spot on. The lobby also featured a lucky draw with plenty of prizes, which was quite fun. Coming back in the afternoon, there was sweet soup to rest up with, and we even tried the intangible cultural heritage Jiama rubbing experience, picked up a few cultural and creative souvenirs, and left a note on the wish wall before checking out. The weather in Dali is cool and comfortable in the morning and evening without being stuffy; it's truly a place worth staying a few extra days.

The location is a massive advantage! It's just a 15-minute drive from Dali Railway Station, and a mere 5-minute walk to the Erhai lakeside, Erhai Moon Wetland Park, and Aegean Sea Gourmet Mall. In your downtime, you can take a leisurely stroll to Xingsheng Bridge to catch the magical blue hour, or take an 8-minute taxi ride to Longweiguan Old Street. Whether you want to explore the ancient town, drive around Erhai Lake, or check out local attractions, getting around is super convenient, which saved me a lot of hassle with itinerary planning. The interior environment is clean, comfortable, and brimming with cozy autumn vibes. The lobby features a fascinating local Dali cultural and creative boutique, displaying Jiama woodcut prints and all sorts of adorable handmade merchandise. The windows are adorned with Jiama art pieces printed by guests themselves, hiding delightful intangible cultural heritage surprises everywhere. You can even try your hand at the fun Jiama rubbing DIY activity, printing a traditional Dali Jiama piece yourself to experience Yunnan's ancient folk culture. You get to keep your finished artwork—a unique souvenir of autumn in Dali, offering an immersive taste of the beauty when "living by Erhai meets intangible cultural heritage." The hotel staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making it feel like a double dose of home-like warmth~ This trip to Dali has been utterly relaxing and delightful.

Came to Dali for a short stay during the National Day holiday, and I truly felt that the climate here is so comfortable. It’s not stuffy during the day, and with a cool breeze morning and evening, it’s ideal for escaping the heat and staying for a longer vacation or workation. It wasn't as sunny in autumn as I had imagined. Choosing this place, what won me over wasn't the hardware, but the genuinely warm and human-touch service. You can experience the intangible cultural heritage of 'Jiama' (woodcut prints) at the hotel, and there are quite a few interesting cultural and creative items to browse through. There is also a wishing wall where you can write down your little aspirations, creating a wonderful ambiance. They also serve an afternoon sweet soup every day—coming back after a busy day out and having a bowl of it is especially heartwarming.

With the crisp autumn weather, choosing Home2 Suites by Hilton Dali Erhai was the absolute right decision for our extended stay in Dali. The Home2 Suites rooms feature a handy kitchenette, making them ideal for long-term stays. The surrounding area has great amenities with convenient supermarkets and restaurants, and getting to Erhai Lake and the Ancient Town is a breeze. The lobby provides maps for cycling around the lake, which makes planning short local trips very easy. The autumn travel pace here is so relaxing, and the thoughtful hotel service makes it a perfect spot for a slow autumn getaway.

Everything is authentically local, and I happily ate it for three days straight without getting tired of it. Every afternoon, they serve a sweet afternoon soup in the lobby—a lovely spot to unwind and rest your feet.
