Dali Qingshan Scenic Accommodation

The owner is a retired soldier, a border non-commissioned officer, and his family runs this small guesthouse. And here's the main point: this place was the most satisfying and comfortable guesthouse I stayed in during my ten-day trip. It has a clean and tidy minimalist design, coupled with an extra-large bathroom, and even a balcony and breakfast. The views from the windows and balcony are either mountains or the sea. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of Cangshan Mountain and a 180° panorama of Erhai Lake. I'll definitely be back next time.

First of all, the entire guesthouse is very bright and clean. The room matches the pictures, the bedding is comfortable, and the view outside the window is fantastic! The freshly cooked minced pork rice noodles for breakfast were super delicious! The best part is that the owner is very warm and thoughtful, providing excellent service! Before check-in, the owner called to confirm my arrival method. Since I arrived by public transport, the owner came to pick me up. Although the guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, the owner helped with my luggage, and even dropped me off at the bus station when I left. The owner has two dogs and two cats, and the dogs are also very friendly and cute, especially loving strawberries! If I ever get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here!

The room was fantastic! Everything from the natural light to the spaciousness was great. You can even see Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. It was incredibly affordable, even during peak season, which made it an excellent value. I highly recommend staying here. Don't bother with hotels inside the ancient city; they're noisy and crowded, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. This hotel is very quiet with excellent soundproofing. Plus, the owner is a veteran! He was incredibly enthusiastic, recommending delicious food and local tips. They even have electric scooters for rent right at the guesthouse, so you don't need to go anywhere else to get one, and the price was very reasonable. When we arrived, the owner even helped us with our luggage. He's such a warm person! We also got a free breakfast in the mornings. The owner even let us use an electric scooter for a day for free. We got his scooter really dirty and felt a bit guilty, even offering him some money for cleaning, but he wouldn't take it. Instead, he immediately called us to make sure we weren't hurt, saying the scooter wasn't important. That attention to detail was incredibly touching and made us feel even more apologetic. I strongly recommend this hotel, whether it's high season or low. And remember, you get what you pay for – if you want a good stay, be prepared to spend a little more. This place offers incredible value for money. Finally, I wish the owner great success in business, and peace and health for his family, regardless of the season. Thank you for your service these past few days; we were extremely satisfied.

The room was clean and tidy with good natural light and a spacious balcony offering great views. The guesthouse provided electric scooters, which made getting around very convenient. The owner was really thoughtful, offering pick-up and drop-off service by electric scooter upon arrival and departure. The breakfast was delicious too!

This was my first time staying at a B&B, and I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, but this one goes out to the amazing host! They helped us with our luggage, and even asked if we wanted water before we left. Dali is great, but this B&B made it even better. I can't wait to come back to Dali!

The owner was incredibly helpful, going out of their way to assist with parking and even seeing me off. Their hospitality was exceptional. The location is super convenient, very close to Dali Ancient City. It's only about a 10-minute walk to the main street, and with Cangshan Mountain behind, you get some great views.

His cats and dogs are absolutely adorable – you can pet the cats, and there were even four newborn kittens! So cute!
