Extremely clean with attentive service, definitely the cleanest guesthouse I've ever stayed in. I'd suggest putting small trash cans on the bathroom counters. The location is superb, quiet yet central, and offers great privacy.

If you're staying in Dali Ancient City, I highly recommend this place. It's right in the heart of the ancient city, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Yet, it's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with no noisy bars nearby to disturb your rest. The room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is well-designed with a separate wet and dry area, so it doesn't feel cramped. What I recommend most, though, is their service. My elderly family member unexpectedly had an emergency, and we had to check out early and head home. The guesthouse staff's response to everything – from discussing the early checkout and refund to rescheduling our pre-booked Erhai Lake private car tour and changing our airport transfer time at the last minute – was incredibly human and proactive. They offered immense comfort and understanding during a very stressful time for us. 👍👍 I definitely need to finish this trip sometime in the future. See you then! 😄

Beautiful hotel, it’s definitely worth the money here. The location is perfect, not at the crowded area but it’s at a walking distant. Good thing about this is the Didi can stop right in front of the hotel. Mobile Internet line might be weak in the room, but they do provide wifi. Overhead projector with movies and show is a plus.

First and foremost, I have to commend the service quality and professionalism. The exceptional service made me feel right at home. The staff member who helped with my luggage was very kind, polite, and respectful of personal space. Secondly, it was very quiet. Their mattress is memory foam, and despite being a light sleeper, I slept incredibly soundly here. The environment is excellent and very clean. The afternoon tea was also delightful; I thought the coffee was particularly good. If you don't feel like going out during the day, spending an afternoon in the courtyard is never boring. The guesthouse itself is very photogenic, offering a truly pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

I asked the owner, and it's memory foam, no wonder. I woke up feeling so comfortable and refreshed! The front desk staff were attentive, thoughtful, and very friendly, always promptly fulfilling any requests. Overall, my experience here far exceeded my expectations. It truly has a strong vacation vibe, and I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

The staff, from the front desk guy to the housekeeping auntie, are all incredibly welcoming, truly reflecting the genuine and simple charm of Dali. The room is spacious, and you can really see the designer's thoughtful touches in both the fixtures and furnishings. The bathroom, toiletries, and even the bedding are all very comfortable. I have to particularly praise their memory foam mattress; I wake up feeling so refreshed, and I even look forward to getting into bed early each night. The design of the public areas is perfect for relaxation and also great for taking photos. This is a hidden gem of a hotel, highly recommended!

This guesthouse in Dali is a hidden gem! It's incredibly clean, and the interior design is very thoughtful. The common tea room and courtyard have a fantastic atmosphere. We even got complimentary afternoon tea upon arrival, and a free pick-up service since we stayed multiple nights. The environment is quiet, and from our balcony, we could see the rooftops of ancient folk houses and small courtyards. The butler was so warm and attentive. We had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend it!

I usually stay in 5-star hotels or above when I travel, so I was quite apprehensive about the quality of this guesthouse before checking in. After all, even a $1000/night Airbnb in the US doesn't always guarantee quality. Qixiang is the first guesthouse I've stayed at in China, and I must say, the decor, design, building materials, and bedding are all top-notch. The service quality goes without saying – excellent! Five-star rating!

Had a wonderful two-day stay in Dali Ancient City, and choosing Qixiang was the smartest decision. It's located in the middle section of Yuer Road, making it incredibly convenient for dining and entertainment. The guesthouse is new and beautifully managed. It's lovely, offers great privacy, and the rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and quiet. The staff (literally 'little brother' in Chinese, implying young male staff) was incredibly warm and helpful, offering tips for local itineraries, carrying luggage, making coffee, assisting with breakfast, helping retrieve dried clothes, and arranging electric scooter rentals.
