Pusu Designer Lake View Holiday Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at Pusu Designer Hotel! The customer service was top-notch, the place was super clean, and the whole vibe was calm and relaxing. The design of the hotel is beautiful, and the sea view from the room was a nice bonus. Big thanks to 大壮 for being so helpful and responsive — he really made a difference. As they say, the devil is in the details. The hotel was very helpful with the collection and refund of my Taobao parcel (yay to free shipping!!) The hotel is a bit tucked away, which might not be ideal for some, but honestly, the serene atmosphere and picturesque views more than made up for it. Plus, they offer free transport to and from the hotel, so getting there isn’t a hassle at all. Overall, a great place to unwind and get away from the city.

My fear of booking the hotel quite far, some 40-50km from Dali train station was dispelled by the beautiful sight of hotel and its surroundings that greeted us when we arrived. The picturesque view of the lake from lobby and our room makes for a relaxing stay, made more by the fact that we were in Shuanglang instead of the hectic Dali downtown. Shuanglang has its own ancient city and long line of cafes, shops and bars along the lake. The young staff serving us were efficient and accommodating to our needs especially in picking and driving us to main road with our large luggages. Highly recommended!

Our room is cosy and has a balcony that faces the lake and able to see the sun rise in autumn. The hotel has great photography setting for Instagram post. Breakfast is ok but staff is friendly and helpful that makes up for it.

Location is not nice for tour around dali, but their hotel design is nice. Is design for photo shorting.

The hotel is beautifully designed. Every corner of the hotel shows art. The butler in charge of our room was very enthusiastic, helping us with our luggage as well as suggesting good restaurants.

Location is next to shuanglang ancient town but also means need to use electric mini truck to transport us and luggage from the main carpark to hotel. Design of hotel is nice but worn out especially the key highlight area of the piano in the mini pool. The water around the piano needs to be maintained. One issue is the huge and a lot of mosquitoes outdoor so don’t really get to enjoy the Seaview balcony much as it’s swarmed with a lot of huge mosquitoes.. service is alright. Breakfast, tea break and good night dessert is good.
