Landscape Hotel

Absolutely fantastic! The hotel is right next to the ancient city, just a 3-minute walk away. They have their own parking, which is very convenient, and you can access the fourth floor directly from the basement. The hotel courtyard has a beautiful, antique charm and is very peaceful. In July, I was lucky enough to catch the osmanthus blooming – it smelled wonderful! We booked the family loft room, and my two daughters loved sleeping in the attic. My younger daughter even exclaimed, "Wow, it's so fancy, and there's a balcony for drying clothes!" The hotel also offers tie-dye activities, which the kids absolutely adored. It was a thoroughly satisfying trip.

The environment is great, and there's an elevator, which is a big plus since it's in the old town. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic, and the guy who showed us to our room even helped with our luggage. They also offer tie-dye experiences, which are very affordable – even if you're not artistic, it's worth a try!

The facilities are a bit old, but the service was good. The room was very spacious, and the hotel is located right inside the ancient city. We went during the off-season, so getting a taxi was very convenient. Overall, it's great value for money. Breakfast was also decent, and they had rice noodles.

Overall, the staff at this hotel lacked a service-oriented mindset. On the first day, there was only one young man at check-in, and he was clearly overwhelmed. The bellhop who took us to our room building also seemed to lack a service意识; my rolling suitcase was quite difficult to maneuver, yet he waited ahead of us, watching us slowly pull it along, without offering to help with the luggage at all! I could overlook those things, they were tolerable. But what was absolutely unacceptable was on the third morning: a staff member knocked twice and then immediately walked into our room, telling me she needed to clean! I was shocked. I was checking out before 12 PM, didn't they know that? How is this hotel managed??

The room was comfortable and clean, and we even received complimentary flower cakes and fruit. Breakfast was unique, the environment was great, and the location was convenient for dining and shopping. Highly recommended!

The Lanting Pavilion Hotel has a wonderful ambiance, with a charming antique style that truly captures the essence of Bai culture. It's located right within Dali Ancient City, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The views are expansive, yet it's surprisingly quiet. The rooms are clean and odor-free, which is a big plus. The breakfast selection is fantastic, with plenty of options like Erkuai and Ersi, plus various fruits, and it all tastes very authentic. Definitely worth staying here.

The location is great, and the hotel is very large and beautiful, with its own parking lot, which is perfect for those driving. The breakfast is also very rich. The only issue is that there are some steps and thresholds, so if your luggage is heavy, it can be a bit strenuous to carry. However, the staff are all very enthusiastic and happy to help.
