Yunyue Haiyu No.1 Lake View Inn

The surrounding environment is excellent, quiet and peaceful. It's very close to S-Ball but not as noisy. You can even buy Erhai Lake fish while jogging in the morning; the owner helps prepare it, and it tastes incredibly fresh. My family and I are discussing staying at the hotel for a few days next time we visit to relax and unwind.

The hotel boasts a superb location and beautiful surroundings. The rooms are decorated in a retro and stylish manner, offering stunning views of Erhai Lake. The service is warm and attentive, and you can even order food directly from your room. The hotel's culinary skills are also quite impressive!

The guesthouse has a decent location, not far from the popular S-shaped bay and the covered bridge, but not as crowded as those popular spots. It also has its own parking lot, which is very close, and the hotel provides a shuttle for luggage. However, the facilities are quite old; the room door makes a rattling noise, and the curtains don't have blackout lining, so those sensitive to light and noise should be aware that it might disturb their rest. The guesthouse has its own restaurant, which is convenient for meals. At night, a small green light on the ceiling keeps flashing; I don't know what it is. The boiled eggs for breakfast are scalding hot; you can't even hold them in your hand. Couldn't they have chilled them in cold water before serving them to guests?! Because it's right on the beachfront, the price isn't cheap. Overall, the value for money is quite poor.

The hotel staff were incredibly kind; since our original room was unavailable, they upgraded us to a 270º ocean view room for free. The ocean view from the room was absolutely stunning. The small garden outside is a great spot for taking photos; you can see people taking pictures downstairs from your room. There's also a rooftop photo spot resembling a sky mirror. The hotel breakfast was beautiful, and the small pot rice noodles were delicious. The hotel's location is superb, with an S-shaped bend right outside. Parking is also very convenient; the hotel has its own parking lot and provides electric shuttle service. A truly hidden gem hotel for those driving.

The service was warm and impressive. The hotel's facilities weren't particularly outstanding.

The room faces Erhai Lake, and you will feel relaxed and happy when you open the curtains. The room was clean and tidy. They prepared a New Year's Eve dinner for us on New Year's Eve. The dumplings were particularly touching and made us feel the warmth of home in a foreign land.

Overall, it's a good hotel. If you have time, it's nice to have a coffee, relax, and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended. Advantages: 1. It has its own parking lot, convenient for those driving. The hotel even arranges electric shuttles to and from the parking lot. 2. The hotel has a good location, just around a corner. The first floor is planted with lots of greenery and succulents. The flowerbeds across the street are also maintained by the hotel. The Erhai Lake shore is just across the street. It's also not far from the covered bridge. 3. The breakfast is good. Disadvantages: 1. The twin room is small, and the shower is a bit old. 2. There are only stairs, no elevator. 3. We booked two rooms (one with a king bed and one with twin beds), but they couldn't be arranged together.

Very satisfied, the room is clean and beautiful, you can see the sea view at the door, and you can sit quietly at the coffee table in front of the hotel for an afternoon
