Jia Kedi Culture Homestay

I am extremely pleased with my stay, even though only for a night. Room extremely serene, cosy, clean and beautifully decorated with a very unique traditional yet modern set up in such a historical building. From welcome snacks to the Breakfast, I am blown away with the thoughtfulness of the host, not to mention the delicious taste. Everything you can think off, it's provided for within the room. One of my favourite is the tea room where guest can brew their tea for free. The room is as per what is shown and all staffs are extremely helpful and friendly.Highly recommended!

The place is magical. The rooms and courtyard are beautifully appointed, respecting the traditional, historic architecture. The staff are very helpful. The breakfasts are delicious, fresh, and varied. I recommend it 100%.

What an amazing stay. This room is immaculate and such a uniquely transportative experience. The management are so super sweet and helpful, offering some of the best hospitality I've experienced in China. Would highly recommend and if ever I visit Xizhou again I will definitely stay here again.

We highly recommend this place. Our room was super clean, cozy and comfortable. We had such a good sleep. The courtyard is fascinating and the overall experience is very authentic. They also helped bringing our luggages.

They gave me an upgrade and I stayed in the white back courtyard. It was absolutely fabulous. I had my own little courtyard and an upstairs (with bedroom and toilet and covered balcony) and downstairs (living room and bathroom in a separate part). There is a huge bathtub and the shower is just divine. There is a guzheng (string instrument ) outside in the courtyard that sometimes people start playing spontaneously! So dreamy. Just so very atmospheric Staff was really helpful with arranging a shared taxi to my next destination. I stayed for three nights and had two different breakfasts so that was nice. Sorry about the qr code - I cannot seem to remove it.

The hotel is very traditional and gives you an authentic experience for living in old china. If you're looking for this experience, this is hard to beat! It's outfitted with very modern shower and bathroom including a bathtub. And the living room and bedroom is very spacious and more than enough for a family. But for the authenticity, you also have to accept the wooden doors and frames which leave gaps for things like mosquitoes! If that's not a problem or you come at a time in the year when they're not so bad, this is a great place to stay. The wooden doors and frames really do creak and require a bit to a push to close.

Excellent location, near the stop where didi service can drop us, near to the ancient town and yet quiet area. The staff was very helpful. Provides an excellent set of breakfast and afternoon tea provided, they even help us to wash & dry our clothes.good experience of staying in the traditional house..
