This is my favorite inn I've stayed at in Dali. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought and effort into running it. From the moment you walk in, to the lobby, stairs, hallways, and balconies, every design element is incredibly thoughtful. There are sofas in every corner, perfect for lounging around. I visited in May during hydrangea season, and seeing all the flowers and plants was so therapeutic. I didn't even need to leave; I could have stayed inside all day without getting bored. And if you love animals, they have cats too!

I really loved Dali, it was the highlight of my trip. This hotel has a great atmosphere, with lots of flowers, several cats, and even a Border Collie named Peanut. The service was excellent too; they'd inform us about breakfast the night before, and the housekeeping auntie would deliver it right on time.

The navigation was accurate; turn right into a small alley just past the uphill section on the right-hand side of the street. I booked a sea-view room with a window at the Ctrip member rate. Traveling during the off-season, the price was excellent. The front desk staff member was proactive and helped me carry my luggage upstairs. Upon entering, there were three beautiful, somewhat bored but adorable cats in cages. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, who, though we only exchanged a few words, radiated elegance, warmth, and generosity. Both the interior design and the outdoor garden of the hotel offered a striking contrast, vibrant colors, a strong exotic vibe, and lush greenery. The bedding in the room was comfortable, and the bathroom featured a smart Toto toilet. It's essential to book a sea-view room; the mountains are visible as soon as you open the door, and the view is stunning from the window. It should be even more comfortable in winter, with lazy, warm sunshine greeting you early in the morning. It's not far from Dali Old Town, about 900 meters away, a little over a ten-minute walk. However, be prepared for an uphill climb on the way back, which helps with digestion and provides good exercise. The breakfast is a set meal, just the right quantity and well-balanced. The butler's exclusive service was especially heartwarming and thoughtful. Due to my medication, they specifically arranged for me to be served breakfast first. Such attention to detail truly shows their quality. If you get the chance, this place is definitely worth a visit.

The hotel is beautiful and the view is stunning.  Breakfast is rather underwhelming and small. A lot of cute cafes and cozy sofas. The rooms look better in photos than in pictures

This guesthouse is located on the edge of Dali Ancient City, nestled on a hillside, offering stunning panoramic views of Erhai Lake and the mountains. It's truly beautiful. The owner has decorated the rooms to resemble a Monet garden, filled with beautiful flowers and plants. Plus, it's super close to Dali Ancient City, making getting around very convenient. The front desk and staff are incredibly welcoming; they gave us directions and helped with our luggage. The breakfast lady was also very friendly, proactively asking us what we'd like for breakfast the next day and if we could tell her in advance. I genuinely love it here. It feels like a garden, like a castle. From the room, you can see the mountains and the sea – absolutely gorgeous!

They upgraded my room for free, and it was huge with a view of Erhai Lake! Afternoon tea and breakfast were both delivered to the room. The two pillows were super thoughtful – one firm, one soft. The bathroom even had hair ties, cotton pads, and a razor. Plus, there were four cute little cats! 🐈

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, the bed is very comfortable, and the lighting is beautiful. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: You can watch the sunrise by just pulling back the curtains. The garden outside is lovely, and the overall layout is very aesthetically pleasing. Every spot is perfect for photos, surrounded by beautiful flowers. Service: They helped us with our luggage, recommended delicious food, and cooked breakfast. Both the auntie and the owner were very thoughtful.

The room was very clean, and the small garden outside was beautiful. It's a direct walk to the Zhonghe Cableway. The staff member was very friendly and helped me with my takeout orders multiple times. They even offered complimentary late-night dessert. I'd definitely stay here again next time.

An absolutely wonderful experience! The auntie and young man at the front desk were incredibly kind and even helped with our luggage. The flowers in the courtyard were beautiful, and the whole place had a great vibe. Highly recommend!

The environment is beautiful and comfortable, and the room is also very pretty and clean. The service is excellent. I highly recommend everyone to stay here.

So lucky to witness a stunning sunrise! My room window was perfectly aligned, so I could watch it right from bed.

There are quite a few B&Bs and hotels nearby. The Hilton Garden Inn is right across the street, but I honestly think this place's service is just as good as any chain hotel. The facilities might be a bit older, but it doesn't really affect the stay.

The location is easy to find, just a ten-minute walk from the Old Town. The environment is clean and there's a private courtyard. Plus, you can pet the resident cats! The front desk staff at the Garden Hotel provided excellent, all-in-one service. The young man was super friendly, helping us with our luggage up and down the stairs, and even did our laundry and drying. We'll definitely be back!

The room offers a wide, beautiful view outside the window! The interior design has an ethnic flair, and the courtyard is full of fresh flowers. The owner was incredibly warm and attentive; when they saw we had brought a bouquet from Kunming, they thoughtfully found a vase for us to put them in – very considerate! We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Dali.
