ANYU Hotel - Dali Ancient Town

I've never endorsed any brand before, but my trip to Yunnan genuinely moved me with Anyu's thoughtful service. Every day, I was well-fed with the hotel's breakfast and afternoon tea. The in-room amenities included a full set of Le Labo products and Dyson appliances, and even the comb was a detangling air-cushion brush – the details were truly impressive. After staying in many hotels over the years, this is honestly the first time I've experienced such warm and personalized service.

The hotel's design is innovative and unique, with delightful surprises around every corner. The room layout is well-planned and comfortable, the toiletries are high-end, and the hygiene is excellent. A special shout-out to KK and Ellie at the front desk for their warm and attentive service; they answered all our questions and even gave us a free room upgrade. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious – kudos to the chef's superb culinary skills! The afternoon tea was also a favorite, offering a wide variety of treats. Thanks again to everyone!

An Yu is truly a gem of a hotel. With so many accommodation options in Dali Old Town, I was feeling overwhelmed until I stumbled upon it, and it immediately caught my eye. The location is excellent; though it's just a few steps from the bustling pedestrian street, it's nestled in a quiet spot away from the noise. I stayed for two nights, and it was incredibly convenient for finding food—restaurants, cafes, and snacks galore. The butler was exceptionally thoughtful. They added me on WeChat before check-in, provided important information, and confirmed transportation details. Although the room isn't huge, it's fully equipped, and the attention to detail is impressive. The bath products were Le Labo Santal 33, my favorite brand and scent. Breakfast was abundant, and afternoon tea was provided during my stay. Small snacks on the 3rd floor were also available for self-service, and in the evenings, there was sleep-aid milk or white fungus soup. While it was a bit noisy facing the street, and I could clearly hear people talking, it became much better once the windows were closed. What touched me the most was that on my last day, I had to leave for the high-speed train station at 7:30 AM, but breakfast only started at 8:00 AM. I had planned to buy some bread the night before, but the butler offered to prepare a simple meal for us. The next morning, they handed us a big bag with two boxes of sandwiches, a box of hard-boiled eggs, a box of blueberries and strawberries, and a travel mug. How incredibly thoughtful! Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely try their hotels in other cities next time.

Staying at Dali Anyu Hotel was an absolutely amazing experience in every aspect! Last night, my mother fell ill with a cold and experienced sudden discomfort and repeated vomiting in our room, which caused quite a bit of trouble for the hotel staff. I want to especially thank Ms. Clara. When my mother was at her worst, she not only didn't show any annoyance but patiently brought her hot water. Given the late hour, she even went out of her way to cycle to a pharmacy to get medicine for my mother. This morning, upon learning my mother was still weak, she thoughtfully prepared and brought us hot porridge. These actions went far beyond the duties of a hotel employee. Her genuine care and kindness made us feel incredibly warm and supported, especially being far from home, and greatly aided my mother's recovery. We are deeply touched to receive such thoughtful and meticulous care from someone we just met. Dali Anyu Hotel is truly fortunate to have such a kind, enthusiastic, and highly responsible employee. She is undoubtedly a valuable asset to the hotel and showcases its excellent service spirit. We wish to express our sincerest gratitude.

Even though the ancient city is bustling, An Yu offers a unique sanctuary of tranquility. I have to commend every aspect of An Yu; from the room design to the food and service, everything made me feel incredibly comfortable. I look forward to visiting again.
