The pure white, Instagrammable style combined with Wabi-sabi aesthetics feels both luxurious and timeless. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the bedding was super soft. The toiletries and little details were all top-notch. The 24-hour butler service was attentive without being intrusive. Watching the clouds drift by during the day, chasing the orange sunset over the sea in the evening, and simply relaxing with the breeze at night – this is the true meaning of a Dali vacation ✨. Staying at the Daili Ancient City Yueshanhai Banshan Villa Luxury Hotel during our visit to Dali Ancient City was truly a worthwhile experience. The hotel is nestled at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, offering breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. The beauty within the hotel itself was already delightful. We booked a twin room, which was spacious and well-equipped, even featuring a private courtyard. The chirping birds and fragrant flowers made it incredibly pleasant. It only takes six minutes by taxi from the hotel to the ancient city, offering both tranquility and convenience, being close to nature but not far from the city. The hotel staff provided exceptional service – meticulous and thoughtful. Our luggage was taken directly to our room upon arrival, and they even helped us load it into our car when we checked out. Any requests to the front desk were answered promptly. The room had excellent soundproofing, allowing us to sleep soundly until we woke up naturally. We had breakfast at the Bainy Restaurant. The buffet-style breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. I opted for the local specialty rice noodles, which were delicious. Western options were also available – you could pick whatever you fancied! 😋 The kids' play area and book bar offer stunning views of the blue sky, white clouds, and green mountains outside the window. Basking in the sun and enjoying the scenery was truly relaxing. There's also a vast, flat green lawn, perfect for photos – it's incredibly picturesque! You can also go there to unwind and enjoy the lush greenery, fragrant grass, and panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. You can also work out in the gym or swim in the expansive pool. The lobby also offers entertainment facilities like billiards and table tennis. Even if you don't leave the hotel, you won't be bored at all! Hands down the best sea-view B&B I've ever stayed at in Dali! Located in the Haidongfang Villa area, it's a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, offering an unobstructed 180° view of Erhai Lake. You can watch the Cangshan sunset right from your bed, and in the evening, the sunset paints the lake an incredible orange, creating an amazing atmosphere. The room is spacious and bright, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony. The bedding is so comfortable you won't want to get up. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and they've thought of every detail, from a Dyson hairdryer to Natura Bissé toiletries. The smart home system makes everything super convenient. It's spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. The butler service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; from airport pickup to check-in, everything was seamless. They also recommend local eateries and hidden gems, and their 'avoid tourist traps' guide is super useful. The rooftop terrace is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset and stargaze – perfect for photos! The breakfast is exquisite and delicious, and afternoon tea is complimentary. It's incredibly good value for money. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Dali, and I genuinely recommend it to all my friends visiting Dali for the sea views!

The room was spacious and bright, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They also offered complimentary coffee and afternoon tea, and the breakfast spread was fantastic.

Afternoon Tea: Had the afternoon tea twice, it was quite good. Welcome Fruit: A four-compartment fruit platter. Location: Turn right out of the hotel and walk straight down to reach Sanyue Street and the Ancient City. A taxi ride costs about seven or eight yuan.

Traveling with my mom, the hotel upgraded us to a quiet room. The room was spacious with high ceilings, and it was very peaceful at night. The breakfast was outstanding. It's quite close to Dali University, and the pick-up service was excellent. The daily afternoon tea was also a nice touch. You'll need a taxi to get to the Three Pagodas and the Ancient City. The front desk service was absolutely fantastic! 👍🏻
