The environment here is fantastic, especially the sea view which is absolutely stunning. It's perfect for cozying up in your room and watching the sea during winter. The location is also excellent. The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; any issues are promptly resolved.

Traveling with my whole family, everyone from the elderly to the children was very satisfied with the Grand Hyatt. The unbeatable sea view alone was worth the price, and to top it off, we could watch both sunrise and sunset from our room. It wasn't old and run-down as some others have described; the hotel facilities are very well-maintained, and the breakfast was also abundant. 💗 I especially want to commend the hotel's service and Manager Li Shimeng. Their responses were prompt, and the service was meticulous. Even when I contacted her via WeChat in the middle of the night, she replied instantly. I was truly touched! The hotel staff we encountered were all very friendly, and their service awareness is genuinely the best I've experienced in all the northern cities I've visited!!! Finally, I have to mention the location. Xinghai Square is right downstairs, Xiding is to the left when you exit, and to the right, there's the seaside where you can feed seagulls. Saintia Ocean World is just 1 km away, making it perfect for families like ours with both seniors and young children.

Old? Not old at all! This is a perfectly excellent five-star hotel. The exterior certainly looks dated; I even thought it had seen better days when the taxi pulled up. But as soon as I stepped into the lobby, that feeling vanished. The service was fantastic too. A concierge called me the day before and we connected on WeChat. They had the room ready early, upgraded us because we had children, and gave us a seal plushie and a handwritten card. We asked for another plushie for our second child, and they happily provided it. They were also very accommodating with receiving a package and a late check-out – I was extremely satisfied. They pretty much granted every request. I was surprised and pleased to see 5100 water in the room. Wonderful! Hotels in Dalian are such a steal during the off-season. Breakfast on the first day was good, the second day was a little less so, but still decent, at least the fruit and bread selection were plentiful. The location is incredibly convenient. I had been debating between Donggang and Zhongshan Square, but I'm so glad I chose this one. If you're traveling with kids, Xinghai is definitely the way to go, and the Grand Hyatt specifically is super convenient. We spent two days digging for rocks and three days feeding seagulls right downstairs. All the places we wanted to visit were just a few kilometers away. Aside from the exterior, the hotel isn't old at all – don't hesitate to stay here. And the sea view is indeed lovely.

As a loyal guest of Marriott luxury hotels, I recently experienced the Grand Hyatt, a high-end brand under Hyatt, for the first time with friends, and it was a truly healing staycation. First and foremost, I must extend a special thanks to the hotel manager, Crystal. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. From the detailed communication, arrangements, and guidance before check-in to her proactive care during our stay, every interaction made us feel perfectly looked after. This level of dedication was truly heartwarming. The sea view room offered an absolutely stunning panorama. Opening the window, we could take in the expansive views of Xinghai Bay and the majestic cross-sea bridge. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, watching the sparkling blue waves during the day and the glittering city lights at night was incredibly delightful. The hotel's facilities were also very convenient. Whether it was the amenities in the guest room or the gym and pool in the public areas, all our leisure needs were met. The only minor drawback was that the room lighting was a bit dim, but this didn't detract from the overall comfortable experience. This trip was exceptionally pleasant, and I will definitely bring my family back again in the future, and I'll be more inclined to choose Grand Hyatt. Finally, a big thank you once again to Grand Hyatt Dalian and Crystal for the wonderful time.

First time in Dalian, and I was instantly drawn to the Grand Hyatt's stunning sea views after seeing them on Xiaohongshu! 🤩 I even got upgraded to a higher floor, and watching the cross-sea bridge and sunset from the hotel was just pure bliss. The hotel is located in Xinghai Square, with the beach right downstairs, and the seaside promenade is just a short walk away, making it super convenient to get to the sea! The guest relations manager was also incredibly thoughtful. I'll definitely choose Grand Hyatt again next time I'm in Dalian!!!

Staying at this sea-view hotel truly redefined happiness for me! Pulling back the curtains revealed the vast, azure ocean right before my eyes. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I could possibly need. Just curling up by the window, gazing at the sea, and letting my worries drift away with the ocean breeze was pure bliss.

Crystal, the manager, was incredibly attentive and communicative. She even helped us get an upgrade to a high floor! The ocean view was stunning, and the hotel's location was super convenient. We had a wonderful staycation with the family and would definitely choose the Grand Hyatt again next time! 🥰

Fantastic experience! This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in my four visits to Dalian. In terms of views, it's easily on par with Sanya. The cross-sea bridge right in front is stunning, and just watching it from the floor-to-ceiling windows from morning to night was a treat in itself.

A few days before our stay, a staff member called to ask about our needs. They found out we were celebrating an anniversary, and the hotel thoughtfully arranged a complimentary room decoration, champagne, and an anniversary cake. Their exceptional care really boosted our impression of Dalian. The hotel's location is superb. If you're looking for a sea view, don't hesitate – this is the place; every room seems to face the ocean. The room itself was very clean and quiet.
