Dar Al-Yasmin Damascus

This is an incredible hotel located in the heart of Old Damascus! Parts of the hotel are 200-300 years old. The fountain in the dining area, trees and plants, and retractable roof make this a very unique place to hang out in the mornings for tea/coffee. The room was very comfortable and all of the staff are amazing and helpful. The hotel manager, George, makes sure you have everything you need during your stay. Laundry service was super helpful for a long stay - they press and fold (or hang) your clothes and if requested they will hang your laundry in the room. The location is very easy to walk to from Bab Touma gate and it’s a short distance from many great restaurants, cafes, and cool spots for nightlife.

I stayed here for two nights with my (Syrian) wife during my first visit to Damascus from the UK, in order to experience the old Damascene style. The hotel provided a beautiful and serene location from which to explore Bab Touma and the Old City. We found the rooms stylish, clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive. The Syrian breakfast was delicious. A great first experience of visiting the Old City. Thank you!

It's my base in Damascus, sends warmth and love in you, you get the authentic Syrian Damascain experience nothing but love to the staff the place and the peace ,I Strongly recommend it for anyone seeking peaceful and lovely experience, go for the sake of inner peace.

The hotel was great place for relaxing and quiet time . Very nice decor and design .room was big and comfortable, breakfast good , nice staff .shesha was great. We liked staying there and wel had a very good time . Big thanks for this good team ❣️❣️

The hotel is very good, the service in the hotel is perfect , and the staff is funny and flexible with the guests whom are staying in the hotel. The hotel’s location is good and the food in the hotel is good. And goerge is the beer employee at the hotel.
