Beit Zafran Hotel de Charme

This charming hotel is located in Damascus old town by Bab Touma. An original and beautiful damscan house turned into hotel with 12 rooms only. I stayed in a spacious king size bedroom that has a cute terrace. The mattress and pillow are comfortable (very important to me). And all in all everything was extra clean. The safe did not work properly. The hotel atmosphere is quite and calm at the same time bright and lovely it's like you're staying in your own home. Oh I heard the kid neighbors talking with his mom as he was getting ready for school . You live the experience haha . Food is ok. They offer breakfast but no dinner. You have to get your food from outside restaurant. It is within walking distance to all old town attraction and bazzars. Very nice location. There are 2 hair salons near it, a church, and a tiny old mosque. Thank you Raghad, Rita and kalina. P.S. they have a private royal suite that is gorgeous for a $$$ price.

The hotel is amazing. It is situated in a heart of the old city of Damascus, where you may find many little shops, bars, restaurants, churches, mosques, palace etc. It is beautifully renovated old traditional house. Everything and everywhere was clean, beds comfortable. It also has elevator, so it is comfortable to reach rooms in upper floors or restaurant on top of the building. Breakfast was nice with freshly squeezed orange juice

I’ve stated over 10 different hotels in Damascus, Syria ✅ and this is undoubtably one of my favorites. It’s so quiet, cozy and comfortable, the staff is amazing and it just has an atmosphere that feels like home. The rooms are also much larger than some of the other properties nearby.

Better, impossible. I stayed with them for 6 days and nights. Managers are very collaborative, helping with any need you may have regarding Damascus and Syria in general. Rooms and common spaces are extremely well preserved and very nice, all of them with the great Otoman style from mid-1800s. Excellent and complete breakfast. They know what they do. I hope to return soon to Damascus and no doubt will choose Beit Zafran again.

Perhaps the best hotel while visiting Damascus. Excellent location in the charming old city; the hotel staff is very helpful regardng anything you may need about Syria. Big rooms, perfectly decorated whith traditional otoman style, enough warm during the very cold winter as well as in very section of the hotel. High quality breakfast and reasonably prices. We shall return!

Beautiful high ceiling rooms, peaceful courtyard. Decor is amazing. Location is an ideal base for walking around Old City. Staff was very helpful. Good wifi.
