Rodeway Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

Stayed here 6 times now and this was far the worst time staying. The room was dirty there was a big gap under the door. We did an extended stay til 4pm some one just walked in our room and 11am. The pool was closed for hours. Then pool opened up go down to pool and they locked us out if our room. No communication with there workers.

I love rodeway. The shuttle to and from is a plus. They pick you up and drop you at the port.

We had a power break down and when reporting to the front desk we had was what do we need to do in the room!

It is close to the airport and offers free shuttle to and from the airport. I did not like that they charge you for using the virtual check-in kiosk (especially because the recepcionist are not working all the time). Breakfast is very basic. We had a very loud fire alarm because people in a private event in the hotel's cafeteria burned something and it took long to fix. TV does not turn off, it turns on automatically. I had to unplug.

The room was much nicer than the previous room we had a few days before. But the shuttle from the airport was not available for at least 45 minutes so we had to take an Uber. I called immediately after my previous stay to claim two charging cords I’d left in the room. I was told to call back. When I called back, I was told to call back tomorrow. When I called back the next day, it took several calls before they finally confirmed that they had located the cords (described very specifically) and I was told they would hold them form me at the front desk for my check in 2 days later. When I arrived the front desk couldn’t find them and told me to check in again the next day with Lost and Found. Bottom line - they were no where to be found and I was told that the front desk mistakenly thought it was one of the cords they had (that were COMPLETELY different than mine - and also not at the front desk).  The front desk called someone and then repeated a spiel that was getting dictated to them on the phone about how they aren’t responsible for private property. The problem I had was that the cords WERE THERE two days before. When we checked out we scheduled the shuttle to the airport for 2pm and then at 2, we were told it wasn’t coming until 3. The manager paid for an Uber.

Front desk service was great, shuttle service was fine. We spoke to someone beforehand regarding the shuttle and understood it to be free which it was not. The floor was filthy and the dirt that came off our feet in the shower from our very brief time in the room was really disgusting, not to mention the large roach dying in the corner (likely due to the fact that there’s a huge gap under the entry door). On a good note, we got what we paid for.

great hotel. one of the few that provides free shuttles to FLL as well as the cruise port, can't beat the value. Although the Kiosk check in is abit of scam, they charge an additional check in fee if you use the kiosk so try not to use it.

I frequent the hotel often for work, always a positive experiance. Especially this last time, front desk attendant Savanna was great and made my stay even better.

We stayed here recently for one night pre cruise. Perfect stay. Really great pick up service from the airport and they took us to the cruise port the next day. Fantastic value for money. Even breakfast is included. Highly recommend
